What is NYM ?

NYM is a privacy infrastructure project that aims to protect the metadata of internet users from surveillance and analysis. According to its website¹, NYM consists of three main components:

• NYM Mixnet: This is a network of nodes aiming to mix and reroute internet traffic. This prevents traffic analysis and as a result the mixnet can anonymize any application or protocol, such as Bitcoin, Tor etc
• NYM Token (NYM): NYM is a cryptocurrency that incentivizes the operation of the mixnet. It also rewards users for their bandwidth contribution. A complementary use is that the users who own NYM, can access privacy-enhanced services on the NYM network. (for instance, these can be decentralized VPN services, private blockchain transactions or private messaging. You can see more in their whitepaper)
• NYM Credentials: This system allows third-party applications to anonymize any arbitrary data so that users can privately reveal part or all of their data at their discretion for any necessary compliance and authentication.

NYM claims to be the next generation of privacy infrastructure that can protect users from data leakage, censorship, and manipulation by providing a universal layer of metadata protection for the internet.

The NYM Token Raffle will run from Friday, June 16, 12am EDT / 12pm MYT through Thursday, June 22, 12am EDT / 12pm MYT.

You have until June 22nd to decide, but at the moment this is written, there are only 14261 Left (and yesterday there were more than double, if I recall correctly)

I will pass this one, I don't feel comfortable doing another KYC at the moment or downloading new wallets.
