Getting Onboard With Zealy

The last Zealy Campaign was something I looked forward to. It was about encouraging Hivers to discover and utilize the Leofinance community through the LeoThreads UI. It was a huge success and a lot of users were onboarded through that Campaign. So, we had users become incredibly active on Threads, sharing their thoughts and views on any matter concerning them, including their daily activities and they could also earn in that process, making it a home to hundreds of Hivers.

I was excited at the prospect of broadening my finance knowledge and also trying out a UI that I’d heard so many things about. I started quite vigorously. However due to a lot of constraints, including my inability/ difficulty in accessing Threads, it was exceedingly tough to complete the tasks and soon enough, I couldn’t continue.

However, the New Zealy Campaign brings something even more exciting. This campaign aims to bring new people to experience the wonders of Hive, a world of technology that is decentralised and built on transparency, originality and trust. The Zealy campaign started a couple of days ago and it is poised to run till the end of the year and then every month, participants will be rewarded based on their points on the leaderboard.

I particularly love this new campaign because of its aim which is to promote Hive, by way of raising publicity for it. I remember how I joined Hive through my friend who was already an existing Hiver and I know there are a lot of people who were onboarded by the words of mouth of people they know. So it’s an awesome medium, getting us, the users of Hive who have experienced just how wonderful it is, to onboard these new people and let them have the same experience.

So each day, different tasks are assigned to participants and from completing those tasks, we earn rewards by way of XP, and this would ensure we climb the leaderboard and are eligible for prizes. The tasks are fun and have to do with a lot of engagement with other Hivers on Threads. So it’s teaching us the value of engagement as well as consistency since we have to check for more quests now and then. As we progress in the tasks, we'll discover the various ways we can onboard users to Hive.

This month, the prize pool is 5000 HBD which will be distributed among those who participate in the campaign. It’s an exciting opportunity that will enable us to grow this Blockchain that we love as well as smile to our wallets, which through and through isn’t a bad idea at all. It’s wonderful seeing the healthy competition among friends and being able to challenge each other with tasks and thus, we have one more reason to connect with each other and that’s one of the core values of Hive. Connection.

The UI so far is wonderful and is getting incredibly smoother to use as the day progresses. My expectations are huge and I know that there will be a lot of things to learn in the course of this campaign. Gaining more points and drawing in more honest people.
