Money Well Spent
I struggle with giving account for my finances. I can account for major expenses, but after a few days am totally oblivious of the minor ones, which constitute the bulk of my expenses. I don't really have any addictions that I'll point as the biggest reason for my spending. However, I would state that I sometimes engage in compulsive buying which I end up regretting sometimes.
The tragedy of compulsive buying is when I spend on things I don't need. There are a few items I have purchased over the years for totally made up reasons at the point of buying which I have not followed through with. Most were used once or twice then abandoned, prompting me to wonder if such funds could have been better allocated to other uses.
Addressing this behaviour can be rather easy when am broke, but in periods of abundance it can be a real challenge. These days I rarely go out with cash or my cards for certain movements to prevent myself from making unnecessary purchases.
Crypto taught me lessons on patience and compounding through the years but I haven't fully listened. There are times when it feels like am getting rid of pennies that could amount to something bigger with enough discipline and consistency in compounding.
Money Well spent is money accounted for.
Put pennies in safe instead spending them.
Then, after they accumulate, you can spend them big time !LOLZ
