Blocking the Noise
If there is one thing my time on the crypto space has taught me, it is the inevitability of the results you get from being consistent. Make no mistake, consistency is a struggle, but the results are inevitable, and they invariably end up becoming satisfying. Yet there is a reason why many of us (myself included) struggle with consistency and the first being the difficulty attached to it. Consistency is hard, don’t let anyone fool you. There are just too many factors that can disrupt the flow and break our momentum. Each one has its own I guess, as we are all in various unique individual circumstances.
For some it may be their environment, restrained by the intense stifle of man made barriers put in place. This is quite pronounced actually, and it is reflected by how we view success and failures in various climes. In the U.S.A, for example, those considered low income earners will likely be considered very successful in many developing countries. Those who find themselves in war torn zones will have nothing put peace and normalcy on their minds. It is therefore a factor not to make light of. When we consider environment, I have special regard for the social and technological side of things that could either act as leverages or distractions.
Technology can be very dicey. On one hard everyone is accorded a global reach these days but on the other hand very few can fully access the real potential of the technologies they wield. The major drawback is the distractions that come with these technologies. Social media might have a global reach, but how many are truly happy with what the space has accorded them? We spend countless hours on some mainstream media spaces to fill a void, them end up miserable. Consistency can also lead to our own decline, and we know when we are doing growth inhibiting things consistently.
The content space has witnessed an explosion over the last two decades and it seems to be growing more rapidly. We also have a clash of ideologies fueling this upsurge In content, not to mention a lot of money to be made from advertisers who capitalize on this interest. This is really interesting, especially if one can observe from a perspective without bias, which is really difficult though. At the very least if we are going to amplify our voices with social media, then it should be beneficial to us from a financial and psychological perspective.
Hive’s social media side is a lot more cordial and respectful than most mainstream platforms, even involving different opinions. It is also a lot more beneficial with the average person, with at least the reward for active involvement being some form of stake. The future is content, and I see no reason why a revolutionary crypto platform like ours shouldn’t play a prominent role.
I'm thinking it's only me that thinks consistency is hard, at least I learn something new and thanks for enlightenment 🤗
Consistency is very very hard, especially in this technological age with so many distractions. The opportunities comes with great challenges and many of us are stuck every now and then battling the challenges. I try to detach from the noise every chance I get but some days, those chances are just non existent.
Very true and very important topic. Thank you!
