My 30th Instacart paycheck πŸ’Έ πŸ›’

I had my best week in over a month, but it still left me feeling as though I could have done better. I am never satisfied with okay or good results when great results are a thing. I will always strive to do better than I have previously.

I plan on doing a weekly Instacart Financial Report like this one, so if you enjoy this kind of content be sure to follow me if you aren't already doing so.

I'm going to be breaking down each day of work individually. Luckily, the Instacart Shopper app makes that extremely easy to do. Let's go ahead and get things started.

Monday, August 14th

Tuesday, August 15th

No work = No pay

Wednesday, August 16th

wedaug16.jpg

At last, I can rejoice for Wednesday I finally got my first batch of the week. Sadly, it would be the only batch of the day. I claimed this one from the comfort of my couch, which you're supposedly not supposed to be able to do anymore. I call BS.

I made about $41.52/hr on this day.

Following this quick shop and delivery I sat in the grocery store parking lot for 2 hours and didn't receive another order. The app tells you to sit within a ranged circle to see batches before other people, but it never has seemed to help. Just another Instacart tactic to get me to give more of my time to them for little to no money in return. As much as I love this job when it's going, I'm really starting to get tired of this company.

Thursday, August 17th

thuaug17.jpg

Thursday turned out to be one of my best days of Instacart in weeks. I was so happy to finally make some decent money. It was nowhere near what my previous daily earnings were, but it sure as hell beats all of those $0 days I've had lately.

I made about $46.85/hr on this day.

I can have 10+ really awful days in less than a month and then as soon as I have one solid one I'm right back to being hopeful that Instacart may continue to be a gig I can commit time to. It's definitely not as consistent as I'd hoped, but it still beats my old job by many miles.

Friday, August 18th

I made about $45.15/hr on this day.

Saturday, August 19th

Another slow Saturday. I really don't get it. I know it's not that people aren't too lazy to go to the store all of a sudden. Most people are still pretty damn lazy. There must be some other underlying reason that there just aren't as many orders as there used to be on the weekends. I once expected to earn $150-200 on a Saturday, but I haven't done that in months.

I made about $54.88/hr on this day.

Although I made great hourly pay, there was so little work that I didn't really get to take advantage of that good pay. I had two orders and both were repeat customers. I almost never get new customers anymore, to me that is a sign that Instacart is no longer growing.

Sunday, August 20th

Sunday turned out to be pretty decent, certainly better than Saturday was. I got two great orders, but nothing else besides those. Both of them took a fair amount of time to shop and deliver, but I was still satisfied with my hourly earnings. Just wish I could have had 2 or 3 more orders like these to finish off the week with a bang.

I made about $43.96/hr on this day.

The first order of the day took me 7 miles out of this road I'm unfamiliar with. I of course lost service since it was the middle of nowhere in West Virginia. Luckily, I found the house with zero issues. One of my favorite parts about this job is how it allows me to familiarize myself with new parts of town.

End of week hours and pay πŸ€‘

My weekly pay was close to $320 and I worked nearly over 7 hours. moretextmaybe

I made about $45.95/hr on average this past week.

Doing it again next week πŸ‘€

The schools have officially started and we are on the tail end of summer weather here. I am remaining hopeful that this gig picks back up again so that I can start earning some decent coin once more finally.

I hope you have enjoyed this insider look at what kind of pay is possible while working for Instacart.

I haven't been keeping up. Idk if that's a good thing or bad thing for shoppers like me.

Hopefully with the kids back in school there'll be more opportunities. I'm noticing a pick-up on my delivery offers here.

That's what I've been telling myself. It makes sense.

Cools earning.
We sure don’t have to settle for less when we know we can go for more. Let’s hope things pick back up for next week.

In life, if things are not up and down in this way, the person who is will live in a very strange way. Time is good.

$45 in my country is a big money for a job, that some people pay in a month, you said the job makes you get familiar with places, which I myself love. Get to know new things.
It is very beautiful you make $45 in approximately 1 hour, That is a big plus in my country.
