Personalized Retirement Calculator

We have seen a lot of retirement calculator out there but almost a lot of them are not as customizable. They take some current expense, inflation and then give you the future value requirement. But that's not how the retirement calculator should work.

The retirement calculator should take all the small things which can effect your future financials as well as your retirement fund. For example, I have a dependent parents, and no where it was mentioned that I want to add that extra expense for thar. Similarly the medical and educational expenses is different than the general inflation. And thus we should be able to change that inflation too. And that's how the retirement calculator should behave, like fully customizable.

So I have created a website which is running in streamlit community cloud and thus you can do customization according to your current expenses, your age, your retirement age and dozens of other things to find out when you can retire. It will give all the things which you should know. Like it will suggest the SIP requirement to acheive your retirement fund. Now the SIP can be different based on, if you are investing aggressively 9r conservatively. And that's good to know because then you will save accordingly.

I have created this calculator keeping India in mind. So if you are Indian, you should go through this video as well as the calculator to see what's your retirement number. If you have already saved then is it enough or do you have to invest more. All the details you can get from the video. Also let me know if you want me to add any additional parameters which can help you to acheive the target.

Like one thing which I am thinking of adding is Step Up SIP. Which means you can invest some amount now and every year you will step up your investment so that the investment increases every year and thus you don't have to invest too much as of today.
