Monetize Your X Activity With Kaito Yaps

Since it's still the weekend and the crypto market has been relatively quiet, I thought I'd share something a bit different from the normal daily analysis. So, in this article, we are gonna take a closer look at the AI-driven Web3 InfoFi platform, Kaito.

Kaito functions as an AI-enhanced search engine for crypto, where users can quickly find out which projects are currently trending (mindshare). Kaito uses "proof-of-attention" to reward content creators with Yaps that will eventually contribute to future airdrops, and no, it's not just for influencers but for anyone creating good content.

Pre-TGE Arena

Once you've logged into Kaito with your X account, take a moment to get familiar with Kaito's different sections. A good place to start browsing is the Pre-TGE Arena, where you can see the current "standings", aka mindshare, of different projects.

The platforms on Pre-TGE Arena don't have a token yet, but are usually running an incentivised testnet campaign, so in addition to farming those, yapping about them as well adds a nice bonus as the allocation is separate from the actual testnet.

Kaito Earn

So if one chooses to join Kaito, what's there to yap about then? Which projects to focus on?

On the Kaito main page, you'll find the Kaito Earn page. Here you can find all the ongoing, as well as upcoming, projects that have teamed up with Kaito.

Here we can also see the amount allocated to yappers by each project, check the campaign periods, and view details. Perhaps a good strategy would be to revisit the Pre-TGE Arena page to compare the mindshare of different projects and if you are a smaller account like me, to focus on the ones that are flying under the radar a bit.

After you've chosen the project(s) you want to yap about, the rest is simple: just create meaningful posts that will engage readers and remember to use tags (ticker or @ to ping the project's account).

$KAITO tokens can also be staked, and even though this part is optional, I've chosen to stake a few as some projects will also airdrop a portion of their tokens to $KAITO stakers.

Earning Yaps

I was pretty surprised when I realised that I had been airdropped some $KAITO tokens at their token genesis event, even though at that point I hadn't earned a single yap. So, in theory, just by joining Kaito and creating a few crypto posts on X could earn us some $KAITO.

I'd lie if I were to say that earning was and it took some time before I earned my very first of Yap, and even now I'm only at 2.46. Still, now that I've increased my activity, I've noticed they start dropping slowly, but steadily. Just have to stay consistent.

Furthermore, I do believe that earning yaps being so difficult at first makes a lot of users simply give up before receiving their first yaps. This makes Yaps more valuable in the end, so there could be just a fine line between not earning anything and earning well. Don't give up.

Sure, it might be easier to rank up in the top 100 lists, etc, if you are an influencer, a Key Opinion Leader (KOL), as they now like to be called, but Kaito algorhitmn is designed in a way that it spots real, meaningful content made by whoever.

For example, this guy 👇 here has 1,876 followers and has earned a significant amount of Yaps already. Small accounts do get rewarded, it just requires some work and dedication.

Conclusion

Kaito is a great addition to all airdrop farmers. Not only can it provide extra income sources, but it can also encourage us to learn more about different on-chain projects. Unlike most of the farming opportunities where progress can easily be monitored, Kaito might feel a bit disencouraging at first, but consistency and patience will pay off eventually.

So, with Kaito, we would be like spokespersons for different projects, introducing their apps to new potential users and getting rewarded for doing so. Earning with our X accounts instead of using them for dull doomscrolling.
