Weekly Hive Savings Update - 16/12/2024 - SaturdaySavers Club
Hello Happy Hive Community!
It’s time for another update, and while I haven’t quite reached my HBD savings goal, progress is still being made! This week has been a mix of token swaps, Layer 2 investments, and steady growth through posting and commenting. Let’s break it all down.
My Hive Goals
- Hive Power Target: 7500 HP ✅ (Surpassed!)
- HBD Target: 1500 HBD (Almost there!)
Current Status
Hive Power Progress
- Current Hive Power: 7691 HP
- To Go: -191 HP (Goal Surpassed!)
My Hive Power keeps climbing, up from 7643 HP last week to 7691 HP today. The power-ups have been a result of some smart token conversions, steady posting, and Hive-based earnings.
HBD (Hive-Backed Dollars) Progress
- Current HBD Saved: 1287 HBD
- To Go: 213 HBD
The HBD goal still lingers on the horizon. While I’ve made progress this week, I still need 213 HBD to hit my target of 1500 HBD. But slow and steady wins the race!
Weekly Progress (as of 16/12/2024)
Total Hive Power:
- Current: 7691 HP (up from 7643 HP on 09/12/2024)
Delegated Hive Power:
- Current: 5410 HP (up from 5207 HP on 09/12/2024)
Liquid Hive:
- Current: 260 Hive (slightly down from 265 Hive last week -> DRIP!)
HBD (Saved):
- Current: 1287 HBD (up from 1230 HBD on 09/12/2024)
What Did I Do This Week?
Token Conversions for HBD:
- I gathered some lower-level tokens I received from Binance airdrops, converted them into Hive, and used part of that Hive to buy extra HBD. It gave my savings a small but much-needed boost.
Layer 2 Token Growth:
- I invested a portion of my Hive into Layer 2 tokens, specifically DRIP, BBHO, and newly added PIMP.
- For both BBHO and PIMP, I pulled my stake up over the dividend payout threshold, ensuring I’ll start earning consistent returns. This was funded through newly earned Hive and some of the Hive-drop I converted.
Bots Progress:
- I continued work on the bots (INDEED, HOPE, WEIRD, STRIDER), but time has been a limiting factor this week. Progress wasn’t as much or as successful as I had hoped, but every little improvement counts.
Consistent Posting & Commenting:
- Getting back to a regular posting and commenting schedule has been paying off. It’s resulted in steady income from Hive rewards, which I’ve been strategically reinvesting.
Next Steps
Focus on HBD Savings:
- With only 213 HBD left to hit the goal, I’ll continue channeling extra Hive earnings and conversions into savings.
Continue Layer 2 Growth:
- I’ll keep growing my DRIP, BBHO, and PIMP holdings to benefit from dividend payouts and passive income opportunities.
Bot Development:
- I’ll carve out more time for improving and stabilizing the bots I’m working on, aiming to roll out visible updates soon.

Let me know what you notice about the PIMP payouts, as I'm very curious. Yeah, I wanted to get in on YOLO and the DRIP NFTs, but I just didn't have the resources to buy any. Good for you, nice! ARMERO and ATX are both good. I have just over 9 ATX paired with over 13 SWAP.HIVE in the diesel/liquidity pool. The DRIP NFTs gave double the payouts, or more. They were well worth the investment. I could have bought two at the 1,000 DRIP level, which would have given me a 1.5x modifier I think, but alas, I did not buy any. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Yeah, for the amount of DRIP that you have, I don't think that it would hurt at all to just keep it staked. They said in about 6 months they're expecting things to be different. Yeah, with how much I've invested, and how quickly the price is falling, I'm hoping to recoup as much as I'm able before it totally evaporates.
It's not done of course, as it was still a rough draft, but I could send it to you to take a peek. We may also need to reconfigure how we do things slightly, especially with the bots. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
