There was a time when from early morning, heading to work, my head was full of thoughts on how to organize the work of the construction team in the entrusted territory, where to order the construction equipment I needed, how to solve complex land issues with villages and road conditions when pipelines pass through highways, how to organize housing for subordinates and their food.

All this squeezed my thoughts like a vice and I did not see anything around me.

Today, remembering all this, I want to remember one person who managed not only to do the work entrusted to him, but he also found an opportunity to develop his other hoddi, or sources of income.

Every lunch break and after work, he disappeared and returned, telling us about where in the village you can buy suckling pigs, ducklings and day-old chickens at a good price.

He knew from whom he could buy cheap feed and he knew where in the village there lived a jack of all trades, where for pennies he could make everything he needed.

It happened that while digging a trench we would find some piece of metal and he, having asked permission to appropriate it, received the metal for use.

The next day this piece of shapeless metal turned into a grain crusher, a unique personality.

If then, many years ago, I could imagine myself in the role of a person who would be interested in agriculture, I would listen to that person very carefully and adopt his experience in this area, but then, I had other concerns.
