🎬 Good Omens /Buenos presagios [ES/EN] 🎬

No he terminado de disfrutar mis historia de crímenes de los jueves cuando comenzamos a ver otra serie que para mi me resultaba extraña, ángeles y demonios, al final si mal no recuerdo su origen es el mismo, simplemente uno caído y el otro presente. Nos recuerda que cualquiera puede equivocarse y no por eso es totalmente una mala persona.

Basado en una novela, la serie Buenos presagios nos presenta figuras cristianas como ángeles y demonios ( el ángel Azirafel y el demonio Crowley ), en una lucha y una amistad a lo largo del tiempo, después de creada la tierra se han encariñado con las personas que habitan en ella e intentan prevenir el fin del mundo, el Armagedón inminente.

I hadn't finished enjoying my Thursday crime story when we started watching another series that seemed strange to me, Angels and Demons. In the end, if I remember correctly, their origin is the same: one is fallen and the other is still alive. It reminds us that anyone can make mistakes, but that doesn't mean they're completely bad.

Based on a novel, the series Good Omens introduces us to Christian figures such as angels and demons (the angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley), in a struggle and friendship over time. After the creation of the Earth, they have grown fond of the people who inhabit it and try to prevent the end of the world, the imminent Armageddon.

Las actuaciones de los personajes son magistrales, simplemente no sabemos si amarlos o detestarlos, pero creo que terminamos entendiéndolos en el fondo, hasta con sus defectos y virtudes. Se supone que tiene comedia pero es una comedia a la Inglesa.

Hasta ahora dos temporadas en la 1 en la serie seguimos al demonio Crowley (David Tennant) y al ángel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen), durante muchos años viviendo en la tierra se han acostumbrado a la buena vida en la Tierra, comidas por un lado y diversión por el otro. Al final unen fuerzas para evitar la venida del Anticristo y con ello la batalla final entre el Cielo y el Infierno. Un error primario en la entrega del Anticristo los pone a buscarlo desesperadamente unos años después.

The characters' performances are masterful; we simply don't know whether to love them or hate them, but I think we end up understanding them deep down, even with their flaws and virtues. It's supposed to be a comedy, but it's an English-style comedy.

So far, two seasons into Season 1, the series follows the demon Crowley (David Tennant) and the angel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen). Over the years, they've grown accustomed to the good life on Earth: food on one side and fun on the other. In the end, they join forces to prevent the coming of the Antichrist and, with it, the final battle between Heaven and Hell. A primary error in the delivery of the Antichrist sends them desperately searching for him a few years later.
