Welcome to my blog.

I recently watched a Korean movie that kept me up until 2am.
I thought the movie wasn't going to be interesting and it was just 8 episodes.
So, I decided to start it around 7pm in the evening.
I was glued to my phone until 2am that I finished the movie😂😂

The movie name is The Defects
It is a 2025 Korean series movie with 8 episodes like I mentioned earlier.

The storyline

The movie is all about a lady who had an awful childhood experience with the mother abandoning her because she felt she is of no use to her.
She grew up to establish a shady underground operation playing god with DNA mutation, channelled to create children of high intelligence for adoption.
The children are auctioned like an item and selected by high demand parents.
The parents could also return the children after some time if they are not pleasant with the results (i.e the child's performance).

The parents who adopts the children doesn't know how the lady trick parents with a notable background and get their sperm for culture.
Neither do they know that once they return any child, the child would be brutally killed.

A man who was given the job to always kill these children saved a child which happens to be the woman's daughter one day, and the child gave him hope.
From that day, he continued to save other children and the four saved children lived in hiding until one day, when an operation to save the fifth child went wrong.
The car he drove caught fire.

The five children started running while fighting the shady operation which comprises of their parents.

The movie is an interesting one with lessons.
Most people go through childhood trauma, they take the wrong way and grow into a monster because of those experiences.

The rich are filled with greedy desires and once you play to their tune to satisfy those desires they become enslaved to you.

How a child is trained when he/she is little determines he/she's lifestyle when they are grown.

Once, someone doesn't see one evil act as evil, they will continue to do multiple evil things without any sympathy.

Not all normal things are right neither are right things normal.

The movie was great I enjoyed it but some scenes are just too exaggerated.

The children will be among people shooting but didn't die.
In as much as the man trained them daily, the exposure to danger without getting hurt is much.
