A check-up day with my little Emily (ENG/ESP)

Hello everyone, I hope you’re having a wonderful day 😊⛅️.

Taking care of a baby is not an easy task, especially when they are so little. My daughter Emily is already 3 months old and today she had a doctor’s appointment. To leave the house and arrive on time, you have to make a good plan and do a series of calculations—mothers will understand me 😅. And it’s no joke: you have to take into account the time of the appointment to know exactly what time to leave the house, since you need time to dress her, feed her, wait about 30 minutes for her to digest, plus time for us to have breakfast and get ready too, and prepare the bag with everything she might need in case she needs a diaper change, etc. 😵‍💫

This is how it is every time we go out with her—we become mathematicians so everything goes perfectly, except for the bedroom, which ends up completely messy with all the rushing around 😅. When we were about to leave, I realized that, without planning it that way, my husband and I had matched our outfits—a very nice coincidence ❤️.

Throughout the whole trip Emily was asleep, because nothing is better than a full tummy and the movement of the stroller for a good nap. And she stayed that way when we arrived at the health center, until it was our turn.

The appointment was just a routine checkup to see how she is developing, and for now everything is going very well—she is gaining weight and growing quite healthily 🙏. In the middle of the consultation she started to get a little restless, and right away I breastfed her. This is something that makes me a bit uncomfortable, like doing it in public, which is why I try to feed her before every outing, but of course, if I have to do it, I do it without any problem. And it's not about being ashamed of that, but it has to do with matching every outfit for it to be easy to do it, and then dealing with the whole process which can be difficult sometimes foe her to latch. Anyway, if you have some tips regarding this please leave me a comment 🙏.

In short, I’m happy that everything is fine with her and that she enjoyed the outing, which is always an excuse to dress her up nicely and take lots of pictures 🥰.

Hola a todos, espero que estén teniendo un maravillosos día 😊⛅️.

Cuidar de un bebé no es tarea fácil, y más si son bien pequeños. Mi hija Emily ya tiene 3 meses y hoy le tocó una consulta. Para salir de la casa y poder llegar a tiempo hay que hacer un buen plan y una serie de cálculos, las que sean madres me entenderán 😅. Y no es broma, hay que tener en cuenta la hora de la consulta para saber a que hora exactamente salir de casa, pues hay que vestirla, darle su leche, 30 minutos para que la repose, más tiempo para nosotros desayunar y alistarnos también, preparar el bolso con todo lo necesario por si necesita un cambio de pañales, etc 😵‍💫.

Así es cada vez que salimos con ella, nos volvemos matemáticos para que todo salga a la perfección, excepto el cuarto que queda todo desorganizado con tanto corretaje 😅. Cuando ya íbamos a salir me di cuenta que, sin planearlo asi, me había combinado la ropa con mi esposo, una casualidad muy bonita ❤️.

Por todo el camino Emily fue dormida, pues nada mejor que una barriguita llena y el movimiento del cochecito para echar una buena siesta. Y así se mantuvo cuando llegamos al puesto de salud, hasta que fue nuestro turno.

La consulta fue algo de rutina, para ver como se va desarrollando la niña y por ahora todo va muy bien, está ganando peso y creciendo bastante saludable 🙏. En medio de la consulta ella se empezó a inquietar un poco y ahí mismo le di el pecho, esto es algo que me incomoda un poco, hacerlo en público, por eso trato de darle su leche antes de cada salida, pero obviamente si tengo que hacerlo lo hago sin problema. Y no se trata de sentir vergüenza por eso, sino de combinar la ropa para que sea fácil hacerlo, y luego lidiar con todo el proceso, que a veces puede ser difícil para que ella se prenda bien al pecho. De todas formas, si tienen algunos consejos sobre esto, por favor déjenme un comentario 🙏.

En fin, me alegro de que todo esté bien con ella y que haya disfrutado del paseo, qie siempre es una excusa para vestirla bien bonito y tomarle muchas foticos 🥰.
