Greetings community, today I want to share that during the week I took my daughter for the first time to have her teeth checked at the Instituto de Previsión y Asistencia Social para el Personal del Ministerio de Educación (IPASME). I went because I have seen children molting their teeth and I thought she was old enough to do it, while I was there, they asked me for my personal information of Rogsanny.

There were not many people, so we were attended quickly, I thought that, being the first time, my daughter was going to cry and it was the opposite. The doctors reassured my daughter and she became confident, although I must say that she is strong, she doesn't even cry for the vaccines, the one who cries is me.

When my daughter was in the dentistry bed, I saw her still, the doctor checked her teeth, and saw that she had a slight cavity. They repaired it at once, congratulated me, and told me that Rogsanny will molt at about 6 years old.

The doctor explained the correct brushing technique for both of them, and also recommended me to change my toothbrush every 3 months to take care of my teeth, and with the suggestions she gave me, I left happy and agreed that I would come back to take my other daughter.

From that experience with my daughter, I can tell you that you have to overcome the fear of a dental visit. It is important to check the teeth to avoid complications and not to regret it later.

They advise visiting the dentist at least twice a year to have healthy teeth that can be shown off with a beautiful smile.

Good morning @mariiale1979, Dentists still have a bad reputation but in recent years going to the dentist is no longer the ordeal it used to be. I guess the techniques have been changing and improving over time. I'm glad everything went well and that your daughter didn't cry.

Big hugs to you.

I think modernization has had an influence, before they used to pull out your tooth with a thread and didn't go to the dentist, now they explain it better, thanks for reading @enraizar greetings.
