Working for Free is not easy

Working for free

When you are a creative person and you are trying to work online and monetize your art and what you do, specially until you can get things going, you will be working a lot for free in hopes that all you do eventually will bring a payout in the future.

Sadly it is how it is and there is not much you can do to change that.

It can be very disheartening and it will for sure make you lose your motivation often when you don't get the results you want or plan. But one thing I am sure, you will keep doing it if that is something that you really love to do and if it is your passion. But not get the monetary results will never get easier.

It's been very hard for me and I had my better moments and also my lower moments, but as per now I am still on that limbo of never knowing how it will be the tomorrow.

This is my advice, if this is your passion. Keep doing it no matter what and no matter how hard it might feel or how bad it will make you feel now and then.

You only can't do whatever you don't get done.
So if you get it done, it is because you could do it.

While you are on your own journey make sure you are having fun, because when you stop having fun it is when you also start losing yourself. And you don't want to make your passion into something that makes you bored and depressed.

I would like to be in a more secure and stable situation when it comes to my art and my work, but that is not the reality and you have to live in the reality accept it and keep working on improving as much as you can.

That is all you can do. If you are going to create a better situation for you it will only happen if you keep trying.

So the next time you think about stopping or you feel like you can't do it anymore, remember that in that case you for sure won't be able to achieve it.

An artist almost doesn't have a choice. They are compelled to express themselves through their art. If there is a financial pay off then they have a bonus. That can lead to working for free, yet really one is working for self expression no?

Over the summer my habit has become posting every day about an adventure taken on this year. Although it may not be considered art, it is an expression of what is going on in my life. Even though my intent is not seeking financial rewards, it has been notice-able how the HIVE rewards on my posts have increased. Although it does not add up to much it seems a sign that consistently putting out content will eventually show results.

Your content is always a welcome addition to my feed. ✌️&💛

I get your point but when you have been trying to also make your art your career then it is a little bit different I would. I am glad you still enjoy my stuff. And sadly I can tell that the consistency thing it never worked for me anywhere, including HIVE! But I guess I am getting the "REAL" experience of what is to be alive as a creative person. The suffering and struggle is real. Maybe in centuries people will be buying my photos for fortunes and talking about how miserable I was and how hard my life was when I was still alive in the world LOLOLOL
