Decided to try something new on HIVE. On the Kickman home page, the full-sized comic page reads fine, but I've seen how it's not the best read on hive.blog and I'm assuming on ecency and peakd and other whatchamacallits.

So for HIVE, I went ahead and dismantled the individual comic panels and posted them sequentially. Hopefully, this makes it easier to read. I won't know until I read this tomorrow, so I'm also including the full page below in case the individual panels are a pain to read.

If someone with coding-fu would go ahead and create a HIVE-based comic front-end then I wouldn't have to experiment like this. But for now, hopefully, this makes Kickman easier to read.

Ah, I wondered what was going on. I can read the full version on my PC with a little scrolling, but on mobile it would be a bit small. My old eyes can't cope with tiny writing. I can see you put a lot of work into this and you want it to be appreciated.

Yes, it is the curse of the creator. I want everyone to see all my stuff. Which makes it hard for me to produce any sort of subscriber-only content, because then a bunch of people won't get to read it. I do have some Patreon-only content on my comic home pages, but all of that stuff I've posted on HIVE already. I make more on HIVE than on Patreon.

We need to get more eyes on Hive somehow. I support what I can.

In my opinion, you should cut the individual panels along the edges. Leave the individual panels without pieces of others around.

Yeah, as I was scrolling through it looks kind of distracting. I actually used the select tool to follow the frames, but then I just hit "crop" on the selection which defaulted it back to a rectangle. I can fix it for next time, and it will probably only take a few extra key strokes. That was me being lazy.

Yes, it's a tedious thing to do. I think that by now it is better to think of the sequences of the panels directly for reading webtoon. The classic western layout seems destined to die. In Japan, the vertical webtoon format is also increasing in attention.
