Kickman 25x28

Zodiac Killers 28

End of Chapter! This is a couple of days late. I have a full-time job this week as a substitute teacher and also moved houses this past weekend. And actually have a phone interview tomorrow to begin working as a full-time elementary school art teacher at a charter school in California.I'm not going to lie, that is definitely going to hurt my comic productivity schedule.

Agh! I just remembered I was going to have an Epilogue page after the last page of this chapter. Agh! Also, there is going to be a bonus page for patrons and Kick Point redeemers. Arrg, I haven't started on Java Jaguar for tomorrow and have no completed panels of Real Superheroines in the can for this week. And I'm supposed to be working on a novel in my spare time.

So, all that complaining is just to set the tone for this poll. I hate to bring up the possibility, but it's a reality I may have to face coming up here pretty soon.

Hypothetical: If I HAVE to... which one of my 3 Web Comic strips should I cancel?
  • KICKMAN, LLC
  • JAVA JAGUAR
  • THE REAL SUPERHEROINES OF HIVE VALLEY

I know, I know... I love them all, too. But, just wanted to float this out there in case I decide I need to carve some time out of my schedule for that darn life that keeps getting in the way of living.

Boilerplate:
KICKMAN, LLC is a weekly webcomic written, penciled, inked, colored, lettered, and produced by Matt S. Law. Matt lives in a van, traveling the United States as a full-time pet-sitter with his girlfriend, Cheri. His mobile art studio consists of a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and Clip Studio Paint Pro.

Which to cancel.

Well, it really depends on how long the jokes in Java take you to come up with.
If they just flow out of your mind, then dropping Java is silly.
If the Java story takes lots of time, then drop the jaguar.

Kickman is probably your most time consuming work.
Most story accuracy. Most dialog. Most drawing.

I guess that Hive Valley would be the same amount of work, but that gets you 6 days worth of material.

My favorite is The Real Superheroines of Hive Valley (and most upvote per time drawing)

Next is Java (because it is really simple, and a certain cat has a claw at my back...)

So, i would drop Kickman. Its a good stopping point, but i will very much miss it.

I definitely feel your pain... between juggling my other work (crypto mining & trading & such) and family obligations, it's gets hard to just produce a comic every other week. Instead of forgoing one of the three, there's always the option to pick one to produce fewer strips than you normally do. Unless the creative inspiration burns out completely, I wouldn't drop any of them! But if you have to scale back how many you make, think on the one that takes the most time or is the least consistently viewed. Just a thought...
