Where River Bed And The City Meets Together

Most of the rivers in the northern region of Beijing, where I am living, are very narrow, and often they are seemingly like irrigation channels. Moreover, all of these rivers are not connected to with any mother rivers that is connected to the sea. Almost of these rivers are originated from several lakes that are located at different locations in the northern part of Beijing, in the mountainous region of Beijing Municipality. Yanqi River is one of the river that is located in the Huairou district in the city area. This river is not so large but it is quite a long river that has been flowing through the city. The quantity of the water is not in good quantity at various location where the depth of the river is not very high.

The Yanqi river is one of the river that is flowing in the city area and there are many residential areas of the Huairou district where I am currently living. The river bed is mostly full of stones and so the water is always much cleaner than in Bangladesh where river water is completely muddy. I have found a river section where the depth of the water is around a meter at most and I have visted this area and have a enjoyful walk on the river bed where there are amny stones and the surrounding views were soothing.

Most imortantly the river water was flowing toward the far area of the city and there was no dirt on the river bed area or with the water flowing here. It is a greatly impactful conditions that is the reason behind such clean water because these rivers are not gaining any dirty water from the residential area which can be seen in many underdeveloped countries like Bangladesh, India and Pakistan, and as a result the rivers near city areas ofthese countries seem to be very polluted.

Also, the natural beauty of the area is soothing, especially since since I enjoyed the river bed covered with stones, and there are many trees in the river bed area. Also, the drier section of the river bed area is covered with green grasses. There are some deeper areas where there is no flow of water, but here the depth is very low, and it is seen that the water is flowing here on the stony surface. The sound of the flowing water is healing at this location.

There are many placed that are empty spots like this where water level is very low and the river bed seems to be like empty places. The interesting fact is that these spots are neatly clean which is very challenging many countries and many rural areas. But here the Beijing municipal is working very hard to keep the area very neat and clean.

In conclusion, I have enjoyed my walking on the Yanqi river bed where the natural environment is kept so balanced by the side of the modern residential area which has no negative effect on destroying the environment.
