A Sudden Trip Along the Qihe Riverside, Huairou

Greetings, my dear friends!

Winter isn't just in the mountains around my living place but also spreading to the ground and plain areas here in Huairou, Beijing. It has slowly made its way to the plains, rivers, and hills. I live here, which is surrounded by beautiful mountains, rivers, and lakes. Each season changes the scenery here. I've always been interested in every season and it's time for winter because it changes the scenery in a dramatic way before the winter but not is so noticeable ways in the middle of the winter.

As the temperature has still not dropped so much, I chose to go to the Qihe Riverside area, which is close to my dormitory. I've always liked this riverside road, but every winter it looks different. As soon as I got close to the river bank, I could feel the cold touch of winter in this area. The water level had gone down, showing stones and dry spots that had been hidden in the river basin. The river's flow had slowed down, and there were spots where it was almost still, like a calm pool reflecting the sky but not a blue sky due to the foggy weather.

The trees by the river are on the verge of losing most of their leaves, and that are left are a soft yellow or dark brown. It was so bright as it is the fall and the colors had a soft, warm glow to them. As I walked, the soft sound of the leaves under my feet added to the peaceful silence. Some trees stand with green leaves also, but soon, they are going to lose their leaves.

I saw how much the land had changed in just a few weeks as I walked along the river during the late summer. This area was full of life in early fall, with lush green grass, moving water, and thick leaves. The river valley is now open to the air, and rocks and stones can be seen clearly. There is now empty spots where the water used to be where the many people used do fishing. Currently, the scenery looks earthy and simple because of the bare stones and dried grass. It looked like nature is taking its time getting ready for winter.

With so many mountains, lakes, and rivers, Huairou is known for its beautiful scenery. I can say that lives move more slowly here than the city center area of the Beijing downtown. Even though I like how each season is different, winter is somewhat troublesome do more physical activity outdoor. It's a time for nature and for us to rest and get away. I felt calm as I walked along the river. The mountains area I had been to the last week is also reminded here about the beautiful colors of the fall.

It looked like the Qihe River was getting ready for winter. Along the banks, the grass had dried out and turned a pale, brittle brown. These plants are thick and green in the summer, bending gently in the wind. Now, though, they stood straight and going to dry, a quiet sign that the season had changed. It was striking how different the dry plants and white stones in the river basin looked. Even though the land looked empty, there was a raw beauty to it.

As I walked on, I came across a peaceful spot where I could spend some time and enjoy the views surrounding. The air was cool, but not quite frozen. It was the kind of cold that wakes you up and makes you feel alive. I watched the water slowly move and saw some goosed swimming in the watery area of the river. I felt very close to the place in that silence. The first snow will soon cover everything. It will be white over the river, the rocks, and the dry plants. Once the snow is gone, the trees will look different: dark shapes against the white snow. Even though it happens every year, I'm always amazed by the change.

Huairou's winter beauty is unlike any other time of year. It gets simpler, as if the scenery is being drawn by an artist very carefully. And in that simplicity, there is a deep beauty. The nature do something great in every season and seems something different when I explore them.

Winter is a time to rest and recharge before spring comes around. It looks like the trees, plants, and even the river know this. They move more slowly, save energy, and wait. In our busy lives, it's easy to forget about this flow of nature. But being here by the river made me remember it. Winter teaches us to be patient, strong and to appreciate the beauty of silence. Nature can help you see things in a new light, and the stillness and beauty of winter has new beauty to explore.

When I left the Qihe River that day, I felt calm. Winter is coming, which means it is time to take it easy, think, and enjoy the peace and quiet. The land, the mountains, and the river nearby were all getting ready for this time of rest.

I hope you like my photos of the beauty of this attractive Qihe riverside area with fall beauty. It was an amazing experience to have such a fantastic place like this, with the discovery of natural beauty, to enjoy my Beijing life! If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them.

Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.
I wish you a great day!

Dear my bro Hassan!
I feel the death of all things when autumn comes and the leaves fall!
When the trees and plants lose their leaves and are buried in the snow of winter, I thought that all living things are destined to die! We too will die and be buried in the ground like them!

But, When we see them sprouting in the spring and seeing the leaves growing lush and alive, we too will be resurrected like them!

We are born from the earth, we eat the plants that the earth gives us, and when we die, we will enter the earth. Our bodies that enter the earth become nutrients, and the plants eat them and grow.

Our death is the process of giving birth to new life to give birth to other creatures!

So, I don't think there is any reason to fear death!

But, I wonder what the winter in the tropics is like!
Does summer in Bangladesh have rainy season and typhoons?

I agree that there is no fear of death as it is our destiny. Thanks for sharing your beautiful thoughts on our lives.

In Bangladesh, we have typhoons, but the name is different; we call them cyclones, but the process and the damage to the coastal areas are the same as these are created in the sea and finished in the land area and the way they pass, there is tremendous damage to the lives and the properties.

Indeed, winter brings a peculiar beauty just before it comes with the colorfulness in nature, white snow during the whole season, and tenderness after the winter is over. Thanks for stopping by!
