¡Hola amigos!! ¿Como han estado?? Espero como siempre que muy bien, llenos de salud y prosperidad, felices tiempos navideños de antemano para todos, por mi parte he estado genial, reflexionando un poco sobre como ha sido el año, un poco caótico, pero al mismo tiempo lleno de buenas enseñanzas, hoy les quiero compartir uno de mis lugares favoritos, no solo para ir a comprar pescado fresco, sino principalmente por sus paisajes hermosos para aquellos que aman la naturaleza como yo y por supuesto para cualquier turista que quiera conocer más de Margarita, considero el Parque Recreacional la Caranta, uno de esos sitios que no deben faltar!.

Claro, el principal atractivo de la Caranta sin duda alguna son el fortín de la Caranta, el cual queda a un minuto de este parque, donde tienes una vista panorámica desde el farallón, dándote otras perspectivas que quizás disfrutes más que estando en la parte de abajo, donde yo tome estas fotografías, específicamente en Playa Juventud, como les decía, además del fortín, a unos 5 minutos más tardar está el faro punta ballena, donde al subir este faro llegas a lo más alto y ahí si cuentas con una vista más amplia, no solo de Pampatar, sino también de las hermosas salinas de Pampatar.

En resumen, al venir a la Caranta, tienes tres sitios turísticos espectaculares para disfrutar al máximo de este pedacito de la Isla, mejorando uno a uno, pues cada cual tiene su encanto propio, a mi me encanta Playa Juventud por qué se juntan el mar, la ciudad, las montañas y el cielo, creando un paisaje digno de ser fotografiado, pasan muchísimas lanchas con pescadores trayendo mercancía y por supuesto mis siempre amados pelicanos, que principalmente están allí para recibir restos de pescado de la pescadería, más, si caminas hasta la punta del muelle, los verás en las rocas descansando o limpiándose, con unas rocas de fondo que crean el lienzo perfecto para lindas fotografías, ni hablar de cuanto se logran ver las montañas a lo lejos de lo que me parece ser cumana, cuando mi familia vino de viaje pudimos darles este pequeño tour que los dejo encantados con la Isla, y aunque nos faltó mucho más por recorrer y demostrar, esta sin duda, es una pequeña parte de Margarita que vale la pena recorrer y disfrutar al máximo!.

I've been doing great, reflecting a bit on how the year has been—a little chaotic, but also full of valuable lessons. Today I want to share one of my favorite places with you, not only for buying fresh fish, but mainly for its beautiful scenery. For those who love nature like me, and of course for any tourist who wants to learn more about Margarita Island, I consider La Caranta Recreational Park one of those must-see spots!

Of course, the main attraction of Caranta is undoubtedly the Caranta fort, which is just a minute from this park, where you have a panoramic view from the cliff, giving you other perspectives that you might enjoy more than being at the bottom, where I took these photographs, specifically at Playa Juventud, as I was saying, in addition to the fort, about 5 minutes further on is the Punta Ballena lighthouse, where by climbing this lighthouse you reach the top and there you have a wider view, not only of Pampatar, but also of the beautiful salt flats of Pampatar.

In short, when you come to Margarita Island, you have three spectacular tourist sites to fully enjoy this little corner of the island, each one better than the last, as each has its own unique charm. I love Playa Juventud because the sea, the city, the mountains, and the sky all come together, creating a picture-perfect landscape. Many boats pass by with fishermen bringing in their catch, and of course, my beloved pelicans, who are mainly there to receive scraps of fish from the fish market. If you walk to the end of the pier, you'll see them resting or cleaning themselves on the rocks, with the rocks in the background creating the perfect canvas for beautiful photographs. Not to mention the views of the mountains in the distance, which I think belong to Cumaná. When my family came to visit, we were able to give them this little tour, which left them enchanted with the island. And although we still have much more to explore and show them, this is undoubtedly a small part of Margarita that is worth visiting and enjoying to the fullest!
