¡Hola queridos amigos!! Qué gusto me da poder mostrarles más paisajes hermosos de la Isla de Margarita, pues como ya sabrán me encanta aprovechar cada oportunidad que se me presenta para tener una aventura digna de recordar y por supuesto de capturar en fotos, pues además de que AMO con locura estar en la naturaleza, una de mis tantas pasiones es definitivamente la fotografía de naturaleza, paisajismo, turismo paisajístico, como le quieran llamar, realmente es donde soy inmensamente feliz!!.

Hace mucho, diría que meses, quería conocer este lugar, y aunque ya había estado muy cerca, pues justo al lado esta Playa Juventud, un sitio al que voy de vez en cuando para comprar pescado fresco, además de disfrutar de las hermosas vistas que hay de Pampatar y de la cercanía de los pelicanos también, pues están acostumbrados a los pescadores, y los tienes junto a ti todo el tiempo, allí te das cuenta de lo grandes que son y siempre atentos a cualquier pescado que alguien les lance jajaja. Volviendo a este fortín, lo había visto en fotos solamente, mi intención era visitarlo de día, pues me encantaría ver el paisaje margariteño con el sol a todo dar, más, se me presento esta oportunidad de ir a ver el atardecer allí y obviamente no la iba a dejar pasar!!! No saben lo emocionada que me tenía esto, pues había pasado algún tiempo desde que tuve una aventura, así que esto se convirtió en un viaje único y especial.

Hello dear friends!! I am so pleased to be able to show you more of Margarita Island's beautiful landscapes. As you may know, I love taking advantage of every opportunity to have an adventure worth remembering and, of course, capturing it in photos. Besides the fact that I absolutely LOVE being in nature, one of my many passions is definitely nature photography, landscaping, landscape tourism, whatever you want to call it. It's truly where I am immensely happy!

For a long time, I would say months, I wanted to visit this place, and although I had already been very close, right next to it is Playa Juventud, a place I go to from time to time to buy fresh fish, in addition to enjoying the beautiful views of Pampatar and the proximity of the pelicans too, since they are used to fishermen, and you have them next to you all the time, there you realize how big they are and always attentive to any fish someone throws to them hahaha. Returning to this fort, I had only seen it in photos, my intention was to visit it during the day, because I would love to see the Margarita landscape with the sun shining full blast, but now I was presented with this opportunity to go see the sunset there and obviously I was not going to pass it up!!! You have no idea how excited I was, because it had been some time since I had an adventure, so this became a unique and special trip.

Les prometo que en cuanto pueda ir temprano les muestro mejor como llegar, como luce la entrada y demás detalles, ocurrió que el tráfico estaba muy pesado por ser fin de semana y también había un evento grande en Pampatar, por lo que tuvimos que rodear Pampatar y no fue fácil llegar hasta acá, así que llegue justo cuando el sol estaba escondiéndose entre las montañas, rápidamente tome las fotos que pude antes de que se ocultara por completo, y así mostrarles lo bello que lucen los botes de los pescadores que les mencione anteriormente, también tome algunas fotos de los cañones, y estructura del fortín, que aunque está bastante deteriorado sigue siendo hermoso y rústico.

Para los que aún no lo saben, este fortín fue el primero en ser construido en Margarita, luego de un ataque, no lo volvieron a construir, dejándolo así en sus ruinas, lo único que se puede apreciar son las escaleras y los cañones apuntando al mar, me encantaría saber más de este sitio, sería muy bueno si colocaran algún cartel explicando más de su historia, como en otros fortines de aquí, pero bueno, aquí suelen venir los turistas y margariteños para disfrutar de la bella vista, cosa que hice con muchísimo gusto!.

It happened that traffic was very heavy because it was the weekend, and there was also a big event in Pampatar, so we had to go around Pampatar, and it wasn't easy to get here. So I arrived just as the sun was setting behind the mountains. I quickly took as many photos as I could before it went completely dark. This way, I could show you how beautiful the fishermen's boats I mentioned earlier look. I also took some photos of the cannons and the structure of the fort, which, although quite deteriorated, is still beautiful and rustic.

For those who still don't know, this fort was the first to be built in Margarita, after an attack, it was not rebuilt, leaving it in ruins, the only thing that can be seen are the stairs and the cannons pointing to the sea, I would love to know more about this place, it would be great if they put up a sign explaining more of its history, like in other forts here, but anyway, tourists and locals usually come here to enjoy the beautiful view, which I did with great pleasure!

Y ahora lo más esperado!! Pues luego de tomar algunas fotos de lo que veía a mí al rededor, me concentre en disfrutar de la hermosa vista hacia las montañas, pues como normalmente sucede el sol para estar hechas del año se oculta al otro lado de la Isla, por lo que en este lado de la costa, podemos ver solo como se esconde entre las montañas y deja a su rastro destellos hermosos y cálidos, también nubes de colores, sin mencionar el mar que se torna dorado por el reflejo del cálido atardecer, es completamente mágico.

De los atardeceres más hermosos que he visto últimamente, diría que este se gana el primer lugar, el segundo lugar lo tiene manzanillo, pues si vas al otro extremo de la Isla, puedes presenciar como el sol se oculta en el mar, más, miren por ustedes mismos este bello atardecer!! Así que si quieren disfrutar de uno así de bello, ahora es el momento perfecto para hacerlo, pues así luce una puesta de sol en el Fortín de la Caranta / Isla de Margarita - Venezuela!.

So, on this side of the coast, we can only see it hide among the mountains, leaving behind beautiful, warm glimmering rays, as well as colorful clouds. Not to mention the sea, which turns golden from the reflection of the warm sunset. It's completely magical.

Of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen lately, I'd say this one takes first place. Second place goes to Manzanillo.
