Spontaneous Summer Chill at Manding Beach Resort in Bogo City: A Quick Trip Just to Escape the Heat and Enjoy the View
Hi there, It's me sheenie!🍀 Another summer vacation blog has come to beat the heat🏖️
Did you experience wanting to relax because of the hot weather? Because today is one of those days. It was one of those super hot days when we all just felt like we were melting. We didn’t have any big plans, but my aunt just randomly said, “Let’s go to the beach”. So yeah, we grabbed our stuff, opened Google Maps, and searched for the beach that we haven't been to yet. Since exploring new beach resort has been our favorite every summer. That’s how we ended up at Manding Beach Resort in Bogo City.
Honestly, we didn’t know what to expect. We just followed the map and hoped it would lead us somewhere nice—and it did. The place was quiet and chill, surrounded by trees, and it felt very natural and peaceful. It wasn’t crowded at all, which was perfect because we weren’t looking for anything fancy. We just wanted to relax and get away from the heat for a bit.
When we got there, the owner told us the entrance fee was only ₱30 for both kids and adults, which was super cheap. He explained that the sea was in low tide that time when we visit, so we couldn’t really swim as much as we want to. But we didn’t mind at all, we still enjoyed the view and the kids were swimming since the water is just below their height. We were just happy to be out somewhere different, with a nice view and fresh air away from the hot air at home. The surrounding trees made the air more fresh and refreshing.
We stayed for a couple of minutes only—maybe less than an hour—but it was still worth it. We took a few photos (of course) with the trees, the ocean, and just the whole vibe of the place. It was super simple, but in a good way. The sea breeze is really relaxing and the sun is not too hot. Sitting by the sea is a perfect thing to do for a hot weather. We also brought snacks with us, so we sat down and munched while enjoying the view.
It felt good just being there, even if it was just a short trip. Sometimes, you don’t need to plan anything big to enjoy a day. A little break, some good company, and nature are more than enough. I think we all left feeling lighter and happier, even though I didn’t have the chance to swim. Enjoying the view is enough for me to cool down, and It's so peaceful here.
I’d totally go back when it’s high tide so we could actually enjoy the water next time. But for that day, it was just the simple escape we needed from the hot weather.
Overall, this was a beautiful experience for me and my family. A beach escape is all we need to cool down from the heat🏖️
