Dentro de las instalaciones del zoológico de las delicias en Maracay Venezuela, hay un Museo Taxidermista les cuento que yo no sabía que significa eso hasta que la chica encargada del lugar me explico, que significa la taxidermia, antes de la reinauguración del zoológico allí funcionaba un serpentario y de verdad no entre por la fobia que le tengo a las serpientes, por lo que usaron las instalaciones y crearon estés museo.
Inside the facilities of the Zoo of the delights in Maracay Venezuela, there is a Taxidermist Museum I tell you that I did not know what that means until the girl in charge of the place explained to me what taxidermy means, before the reopening of the zoo there was a serpentarium and I really did not enter because of the phobia I have to snakes, so they used the facilities and created this museum.
Según lo que me explicaba la chica la taxidermia es una técnica que se utiliza para preservar los órganos y la piel de un animal muerto para que conserve su apariencia física, para fines decorativos y científicos para futuros estudios, ciertamente me llamo mucho la atención algunas que allí estaban parecía que estaban vivo, pero no se pueden tocar.
According to what the girl explained to me, taxidermy is a technique used to preserve the organs and skin of a dead animal so that it retains its physical appearance, for decorative and scientific purposes for future studies, certainly I was very struck by some that were there it seemed that they were alive, but you can not touch them.
Habían un rincón de pieles de felinos y serpientes preservadas con la misma técnica sin los órganos, algunas fueron decomisadas a coleccionistas según me comentó la chica que está activa está prohibida, por supuesto habían otras especies en exposición.
There was a corner of skins of felines and snakes preserved with the same technique without the organs, some were confiscated from collectors according to the girl who told me that this active is prohibited, of course there were other species on display.
En el museo también están en exposición pinturas antiguas en blanco y negro del primer zoológico, de la casa de verano del presidente dictador y militar Juan Vicente Gómez quien goberno el país desde el 1908 hasta 1935, además algunos cuadros de la historia de Maracay.
The museum also exhibits old black and white paintings of the first zoo, of the summer house of the dictator and military president Juan Vicente Gómez, who ruled the country from 1908 to 1935, as well as some paintings of the history of Maracay.
Incluso tienen las sillas de hierro un material resistente normalmente lo usan para jardín precisamente por la resistencia por supuesto recuperadas ya que tienen muchos años sin embargo se ven como nuevas, yo hasta me senté jajaja.
They even have iron chairs, a resistant material normally used for the garden precisely because of the resistance of course recovered since they are many years old, however they look like new, I even sat down hahaha.
