We are going up a slight hill. We go to Gülhane Park from Sirkeci train station. We are extending the roads. We encounter a historical building and a historical monument on every street. Hundreds of local and foreign people are taking photos.

Gülhane Park and Alay Mansion welcome us among the historical walls of Istanbul. Colorful tulips and flowers everywhere. Old plane trees. We sing the Cem Karaca song loudly; "I am a walnut tree in Gülhane park."

We continue walking. Modern buildings among historical buildings. Cafes, restaurants, carpet shops and souvenir shops beckon you along the way. They are trying to make you experience the Ottoman period with nostalgic clothes. But please know that in Turkey, no one wears a fez or dresses like sultans 🤗 And most importantly, we do not travel by camel. There is no desert in Türkiye.

Towards the end of the street is the historical Basilica Cistern. City irrigation system from the Byzantine period. When he saw the queue of hundreds of people in front of the cistern; We gave up on going when we wrapped up. And we started walking again.

Our target is the Hagia Sophia Museum. The most famous architecture in history, which was a church during the Byzantine period. It is a wonderful work that was considered a turning point in architecture at the time it was built. For years, it was thought that there was no architectural work rivaling it. It is a masterpiece of architecture with the width and structure of its domes. It is a building open to visitors and worship as a museum and a mosque. It is a visiting point for millions of tourists every year.

There are flowers, pools and many parks in Hagia Sophia Square. Square; It is one of the most popular centers in Istanbul's historical peninsula. It hosts many local and foreign tourists. It attracts the attention of people from all walks of life, both in terms of its architecture and belief culture.

Visiting the inside of the Hagia Sophia Mosque gives us both faith and belief; It also gave me great architectural pleasure. The inside of the magnificent building is as beautiful as the outside. We couldn't go to Hagia Sophia Square without eating the historical Sultan Ahmet Meatballs. There is always a queue at the meatball restaurant. The meatballs and blarney of this place are very famous.

We walked a lot, we saw a lot, we learned a lot and we were very happy. We looked at St. Istanbul from above. And we saw a truly beautiful city from top to bottom.

Istanbul'u dinliyorum, gozlerim kapali." İstanbul'u dinliyoruz. Eminönü meydandan güvercinlerin uçuşları ve sesleri. Kalabalık bir insan seli, boğazda vapurlar ve feribotların kornaları.

Hafif bir yokuş çıkıyoruz. Sirkeci tren garından Gülhane Parkına çıkıyoruz. Yolları uzatıyoruz. Her bir sokakta bir tarihi bina bir tarihi eserle karşılaşıyoruz. Yerli ve yabancı yüzlerce insan fotoğraf çekiyor.

İstanbul'un tarihi surlarının arasında Gülhane Parkı ve Alay köşkü bizi karşılıyor. Her yer rengarenk lale ve çiçekler. Yaşlı çınar ağaçları. Cem Karaca şarkısını söylüyoruz yüksek sesle; "Ben bir ceviz ağacıyım Gülhane parkında."

Yürümeye devam ediyoruz. Tarihi binalar arasında modern binalar. Cafeler, restaurantlar, halıcılar ve hediyelik eşya mağazaları yol boyunca sizi kendine çağırıyor. Nostaljik kilıyafetlerle size Osmanlı dönemini yaşatmaya çalışıyorlar. Ama lütfen bilin ki Türkiye de kimse fes takmıyor, sultanlar gibi giyinmiyor 🤗 Ve en önemlisi biz deve ile seyahat etmiyoruz. Türkiye de çöl yok.

Sokağın sonuna doğru tarihî Yerebatan sarnıcı var. Bizans döneminden kalma şehir sulama sistemi. Sarnıç önünde yüzlerce kişiden oluşan kuyruğu görünce; sarınca gitmekten vaz geçtik. Ve tekrar yürümeye başladık.

İşte hedefimizdir Ayasofya Müzesi. Bizans döneminde klise olan tarihin en meşhur mimarisi. Yapıldığı dönemde mimarlık da bir dönüm noktası olarak kabul edilen harika bir eser. Yıllarca kendisine rakip bir mimari eser olmadığı düşünülmektedir. Kubbelerinin genişliği ve yapısı ile bir baş mimari yapıt. Müze ve Cami olarak ziyeret ve ibadete açık bir bina. Her yıl milyonlarca turistin ziyaret noktası.

Ayasofya Meydanda Çiçekler havuzlar ve bir çok park var. Meydan; İstanbul'un Tarihi yarım adasının en çok ilgi gördüğü merkezlerden biri.Yerli ve yabancı birçok turistte ev sahipliği yapıyor. Gerek mimarisi gerekse inanç kültürü olarak her kesimden insanın ilgisini çekiyor.

Ayasofya Camisinin içini gezmek bize hem inanç olarak; hemde mimari olarak büyük bir haz verdi. Görkemli yapının içi de dışı kadar güzel. Ayasofya Meydana gelip tarihî Sultan Ahmet Köftesi yemeden gidemezdik. Köftecide her zaman sıra vardır. Buranın köftesi ve piyazı çok meşhurdur.

Çok yürüdük, çok gördük, çok öğrendik ve çok mutlu olduk. Aziz Istanbul'a tepeden baktık.Ve tepeden tırnağa gerçekten çok güzel bir şehir gördük.
