Mount Kota Kinabalu is majestic

Good morning.. Have you ever seen Mount Kota Kinabalu before? A couple of years ago, I went to climb this mountain. Tough three days climb with only a couple of sleep.

However, I guess, that was one of the last times I would climb this mountain in my entire life. Super tough and when I got back, it got me thinking about life.

Mount Kota Kinabalu

For a couple of days, it had been raining quite a lot. I did not manage to even have a clear picture taken of this beautiful mountain. Finally, on this day, I woke up early just to take a picture of this at roughly 6 am.

Waking up so early paid off. I managed to capture a picture of this beautiful mountain. It was also the last day of my trip here. I was going to head back to the main city.

I knew that after a couple of hours, it was going to be covered by fog once again.

The view of the other lodge early in the morning. Just so beautiful to look at.

The road that leads to the main road. On the left is the building where you can eat breakfast.

I went to explore this part of the lodge. There was an area where you could see the whole mountain from its platform.

My wife enjoyed the view of the mountain.

Early morning and it was cold in the morning. I guess the temperature was around 16 degrees. High up here above the skies. You can see the clouds passing by above.

An early morning photo

Nice weather early in the morning.

Man's best friend and my wife.

This dog accompanied us for a couple of days while we were here. It always wanted food. Even climbed on my leg one time and was angry and me for not giving it food.

This was the last day I was here. Sad to not see him. I guess, it's great to remember him.

Mount Kota Kinabalu

Just amazing to look at. I flew my drone up here just to get a better view of it from up here.

My wife

Cold so suit up.

I told my mom about the view. So she came with her phone and took a photo of the mountain too.

This was from one of the rooms that had a mountain view. No one stayed here. At night, this place is kind of scary as it becomes quite dark but during the day, it's just beautiful to look at the mountain.

Do you want to hike up here? A lot of international hikers come here to hike.

The total elevation of this mountain is 4095 meters high above the sea.

The toughest part of the whole climb would be the last part. No steps. All steep climbs and up up up with one rope as a guide. No toilet for the couple of hours climbing up there.

Thank you very much for reading this post. Climb up this mountain someday. You'll get a certificate. Remember this for the rest of your life.

I saw an extraordinary view at the top which was indeed extraordinary, but below it didn't look like that, especially next to the house there was a mountain that looked green.
