A Calm and Joyful Day in Baguio with My Family 👨👩👦
Way back, my family and I took a memorable trip to Baguio City one of the most beautiful and refreshing places in the Philippines. I can still remember the cool breeze touching my face as we arrived, a big change from the hot weather we were used to. The pine trees, the mountains, and the peaceful atmosphere instantly made us feel relaxed and excited to explore the city.
One of the first places we visited was the famous Bell Church. It was such a unique and stunning spot, unlike any other place I had seen before. The entrance was decorated with traditional Chinese designs, colorful dragons, and beautiful arches. As we walked inside, we were amazed by the calmness of the surroundings. There were ponds, gardens, and temples that showed the rich culture and beliefs of the Chinese-Filipino community. The view from the area was also beautiful, making it a perfect place to take photos and reflect quietly. I felt a sense of peace just being there.
After exploring Bell Church, we felt hungry, so we decided to enjoy some delicious food. One of the best parts of traveling is trying different local dishes, and Baguio did not disappoint. We ate at a local restaurant that served warm soups, grilled meat, and fresh vegetables picked from the nearby farms. The food was simple but full of flavor, and the cold weather made every bite even more comforting. We also tried some well-known Baguio treats like ube jam and strawberry taho, which were absolutely delicious.
That day was truly one of my favorite memories. It wasn’t just about the places we visited, but also the time spent together as a family. We laughed, took pictures, and enjoyed every moment. Visiting Bell Church and eating delicious food in Baguio reminded me that the best experiences in life are often simple—beautiful views, peaceful places, and good food shared with the people you love.
Our trip may have happened long ago, but the memories still feel fresh in my heart. I hope to go back to Baguio again someday and relive those happy moments.
Thank you ang happy reading 😀
