Dai Yem Waterfall - A fairtale hidden in the forest in Moc Chau
Hi dear Hivers in Pinmapple community, it's me, dodovietnam again. And today I would like to introduce a new destination for you guys. It's Dai Yem waterfall. Dai Yem waterfall is a beautiful waterfall hidden in the forest located in Vat village, Mương Sang commune, Moc Chau district and Son La province.
First, you might want to see all the photos I took of the waterfall below:
Dai Yem waterfall is about 8km from Moc Chau center. From there, we have drive through winding hill road to get to the waterfall. In general, the view of the both sides of the road is also beautiful with mountains, cliffs, forest, trees, streams, clouds,... so you never get bored to drive here.
Let me explain a litte bit about the name of the waterfall. Dai Yem means silk strip. It's understable because from afar, the waterfall looks like a silk strip. Dai Yem waterfall is formed from 2 streams which are Ta Chau and Co Lam. Most of the area of Muong Sang commune is forest, so the flow of water runs through the forest. Besides, because of the special terrain, flow of the water creates multi-tier waterfall. I didn't notice about that until I got the drone view.
Among many attractive destinations in Moc Chau land, Dai Yem waterfall is the one you should not miss because of not only its beauty but also the breath-taking view of the surrounding area. I hope you enjoy the post. Thank you very much for taking time to read my post. And wish you a nice day.
