Palawan Adventures Part 2: New Destination, New Memories, Same Person

Hi Dear Hivers and @worldmappin Fam! I hope you are all doing great! I am here once again to share another island adventure. As I mentioned on my previous blog, I promised to share this wonderful story and since some of you wanted to see more of my exploration. So, here it is! Take a moment to relax and join me on this lovely adventure.

We checked in to one of the famous hotel beach resort called Nacpan Beach. This is known for it’s good location lined with coconut trees and clear water. It has a laid back vibe - relax and you get to enjoy the peaceful day by the sea. The moment we arrived at their cozy lobby, we were greeted with their refreshing welcome drinks and a handmade shell necklace. It was so pretty! Then we went to our room to drop off our things and take a short rest. The room was big with two comfy beds and a large TV and a huge bathroom. We even had a small garden outside our villa which looks so perfect for us.

We then decided to check out the other side of the hotel where the food was being served. It was right by the beach which looks so relaxing and calm. We enjoyed the food and of course our little conversations together. There were also bean bags and other things you can use if you wanted to sunbathe. You can also grab drinks on their mini bar and enjoy it under the sun while taking in the view.

Before heading back to our room we asked the receptionist about the island hopping tours we could join the next day. They actually had different options of island tours. We chose only the Tours A and C. So this was like 3 islands each tours. Tour A - The Lagoons and Beach Tour while Tour C - The Hidden Beaches and Snorkeling Tour. That was fine with us since we mainly wanted to experience it. We booked the trip and even opted for a private tour. We always prefer private ones since it's less hassle. By the way the tour also included the food and a guide while exploring the island.

The day of our island hopping adventure finally came! We woke up early and had buffet breakfast while enjoying a slow peaceful morning before our tour began. After breakfast we hopped on the van service provided by the hotel. Nacpan is a bit far away from the town proper. Inside were fellow travelers who were also off for a day of island adventures.

When we arrived in town, the driver dropped us off at the area where we needed to register our names and meet our tour guide. After that, we started walking towards the beach to start our island hopping adventure. While we were sailing on the small boat, we enjoyed the view of the ocean and the mountains along with the sound of the relaxing waves.

I can't remember all the islands we visited, but we had an amazing experience exploring the iconic lagoons. The Big Lagoon amazed us with its crystal clear water surrounded by huge limestone cliffs. The Small Lagoon was accessible through a small rock opening. It was scary yet definitely a fun adventure - a magical spot perfect for calm peaceful swimming. We even saw local vendors selling drinks, ice cream and the famous Fresh Buko (coconut juice).

My boyfriend loved the water and he enjoyed snorkeling, while I admired the breath taking views and took countless photos. This is a surreal moment - another travel goal unlocked! By the way, while we were kayaking, we spotted a turtle happily swimming. We felt so lucky to see it, and I immediately took a photo of this beautiful creature.

Traveling to places like these is truly wonderful. You get to appreciate life, nature and the people around you. I feel so lucky to have experienced this with my love which made the trip even more memorable. Palawan has a lot to offer. It is truly a gem!
