I hope you are well or are trying to be well. I am fine. I feel great and today I want to talk to you about a great place.

Lately my friend and I have been trying to discover new places around Silivri because our traditional weekend get-togethers have started to repeat themselves. I think that's a great reason to explore new places.

As a result of this search, we met Gourmet De Pasta, which we saw thanks to the demolished building on the side street. Although we were a little prejudiced because it was our first visit to this place (we know that eating pasta out in Türkiye is not a common thing), we left with a big smile on our faces.

After chatting a bit with the waiter, whose name I wish I had learnt, and thank you again for her recommendation, we finally made up our minds. I ordered the fettuccine with creamy mushrooms, while my friend added creamy chicken to it. I think one of the best things that can go well with a homemade pasta is creamy mushrooms and the other is cheese.

While eating our fettuccine, my friend and I shared our opinions about this place. The size of the portions, which we ordered medium size, was quite appropriate. Although the level of cooking of our pasta with cheese wheel was classic, Beril, who has been interested in cooking lately, could definitely not reach it.

I think the Italian effect that was intended to be created with the simplicity of the place was achieved. Its simplicity but at the same time its beauty won our hearts. I asked myself how a pasta could be so loved, but now I realise that I should not count the ready-made pastas I have eaten so far, maybe because of that.

When I talked to the owner of Gourmet De Pasta, we thanked him profusely and expressed our appreciation. Towards the end of our meal, we gave our promise to the cute waiter who suggested dessert because when we talked to my friend, we promised that we would definitely come back here.

Also, as an Istanbul classic, there was a cat here. He seemed to be a little bit sly and hungry for affection. I lingered there for a while and informed the owner about Hive. Let's see if I will hear from him again.

Also, their love for Atatürk did not escape my eyes. This is a big factor for me to come back personally. I think we will come back here soon and have another plate of this wonderful pasta. I think that's all I want to say about Gourmet De Pasta. If you happen to be in Silivri one day and you don't know what to do, I would definitely say stop by here. There is a team that will welcome you with a smiling face, give you a great service and send you out the door with a smiling face.

Umarım iyisinizdir ya da iyi olmaya çalışıyorsunuzdur. Ben iyiyim. Kendimi harika hissediyorum. Bugün sizlerle harika bir mekân hakkında konuşmak istiyorum.

Son zamanlarda arkadaşımla birlikte Silivri civarlarında yeni yerler keşfetmeye çalışıyoruz çünkü geleneksel haftasonu buluşmalarımız kendilerini tekrar etmeye başladılar. Bence bu yeni yerler keşfetmek için harika bir sebep.

Bu arayışımız sonucunda yan sokağından geçerken yıkılmış olan bina sayesinde gördüğümüz Gourmet De Pasta ile tanıştık. Bu mekâna ilk gelişimiz olduğu için biraz ön yargılı olsak da (biliriz Türkiye'de dışarıda makarna yemek pek olağan bir şey değildir) yüzümüzde kocaman bir gülümseme ile buradan ayrıldık.

Keşke adını öğrenseydim dediğim çok tatlı garson ile birlikte biraz sohbet ettikten sonra ki kendisinin bize tavsiyesi için tekrar teşekkür ederim, en sonunda karar verebildik. Ben kremalı mantarlı fettuccine söylerken arkadaşım buna kremalı tavuk da ekledi. Bence bir ev yapımı makarnaya yakışabilecek en iyi şeylerden biri kremalı mantar, diğeri de peynir zaten.

Fettuccine'lerimizi yerken arkadaşımla yaptığımız sohbette burası hakkında fikirlerimizi paylaştık. Porsiyonların boyutu ki biz orta boy söyledik, gayet yerindeydi. Peynir tekeri ile buluşmuş makarnamızın pişme derecesi klasik olsa da son zamanlarda yemek yapmaya merak salmış Beril kesinlikle buna ulaşamazdı.

Mekânın sadeliği ile birlikte yaratılmak istenen İtalyan etkisi bence yakalanmış. Sadeliği ama aynı zamanda da güzelliği bizim kalbimizi kazandı. Bir makarna nasıl bu kadar sevilir diye sordum kendime ne yalan söyleyeyim ama şimdi anlıyorum ki şu zamana kadar yediğim hazır makarnaları saymamak gerekiyormuş belki de ondan dolayı.

Gourmet De Pasta'nın sahibi ile konuştuğumda kendisine bol bol teşekkür ettik ve beğenimizi dile getirdik. Yemeğimizin sonuna doğru tatlı önerisinde bulunan şirin garsona bir dahaki sefere sözümüzü de verdik çünkü arkadaşım ile konuştuğumuzda buraya kesinlikle geri döneceğimize dair bir söz verdik.

Ayrıca bir İstanbul klasiği olarak burada da bir kedi vardı. Kendisi biraz sırnaşık ve sevgiye aç gibi görünüyordu. Orada biraz onunla oyalanıp mekân sahibine Hive hakkında bilgi verdim. Bakalım kendisinden bir daha haber alabilecek miyim?

Ayrıca kendilerinin Atatürk sevgisi de gözümden kaçmadı. Bu şahsen geri dönmem için büyük bir etken. Sanırım en kısa zamanda buraya geri döneceğiz ve bu harika makarnadan bir tabak daha yiyeceğiz. Sanırım Gourmet De Pasta hakkında söylemek istediklerim bu kadar. Eğer olur da bir gün Silivri'ye yolunuz düşer ve ne yapacağınızı bilemezseniz kesinle buraya uğrayın derim. Güler yüzü ile sizi karşılayacak, harika bir hizmet verecek ve güler yüzle sizi kapıdan uğurlayacak bir ekip var.
