Hello #WorldMapPing friends, I'm back to join me on these visits to places in Cuba and my hometown of Cienfuegos.

Today I visited a spectacular place in the city center, not because of its dazzling architecture, but because of its tranquility, the quiet, and the great time it offers.

This is the San Román bookstore. Anyone would think what to do in a bookstore other than buy books, but this one is special because it has a literary café inside.

What a pleasant feeling to walk in and be welcomed, surrounded by coffee and books at the same time.

You arrive, sit down while the clerk pleasantly hands you the menu with a wide variety of drinks, or, like many others, scan the QR code and get the digital menu. Payment for the service can also be made this way.

Then, like me, you decide to look for books, perhaps to read on the spot or simply to buy them and start reading while enjoying a cappuccino, a mocha, a frappuccino, or any other drink you desire. I decided on a Café bombón while enjoying the works of Fernando Pessoa.

Nothing better than a good cup of coffee and a good book to feel good, or perhaps to chat and debate with friends.

I really liked the very handcrafted decor with motifs allegorical to the history of coffee.

In addition, the space tells a story and is built between both worlds with a totally cultural atmosphere where poetry recitals, competitions, solo concerts are held, and where you have the opportunity to discover yourself as a singer or writer.

Also striking are the different coffee makers on display and some of the many types of coffee available in the world.

But this bookstore doesn't stop there. It also has a small souvenir shop and other services. From here, we can leave with a gift for ourselves or a friend.

The girls called Booksellers are incredible, catering to our greatest literary needs. If that weren't enough, the bookstore has a second floor for conferences and book launches where coffee is always available.

The bookstore also has a recording studio for podcasts made by writers. Isn't that incredible! It's a shame I haven't made it to this place, but I hope to get in someday.

Hoy he visitado un lugar espectacular en el centro de la ciudad, no por tener una arquitectura deslumbrante, sino por la tranquilidad, la quietud y lo bien que se puede pasar.

Esta es la librería San Román, cualquiera pensaría, que hacer en una librería que no sea comprar libros, pero esta es especial porque dentro tiene un café literario.

Que agradable sensación de entrar y ser bien recibido, rodeado de arma de café y libros a la misma vez.

Llegas, te sientas mientras el dependiente agradablemente te entrega la carta con una amplia variedad de bebidas o haces como muchos, escaneas el código QR y obtienes el menú digital. También el pago del servicio puede ser por esta vía.

Luego te decides como yo a buscar libros, tal vez para leer en el lugar o simplemente para comprarlos y comenzar la lectura mientras disfrutas de un Capuccino, un Moka, un Frappuccino o cualquier otra bebida que desees. Yo me decidí por un Café bombón mientras disfrutaba de la obra de Fernando Pessoa.

Nada mejor que un buen café y un buen libro para sentirnos bien, o tal vez para conversar y debatir entre amigos.

Me gusto mucho la decoración muy artesanal y con motivos alegóricos a la historia del café.

Además el espacio cuenta una historia y se construye entre ambos mundos con un ambiente totalmente cultural donde se realizan recitales de poesía, concursos, conciertos de solistas y donde tienes la posibilidad de descubrirte como cantante o escritor.

Llama también la atención las diferentes cafeteras que se exhiben y algunos tipos de café de los tantos que existen en el mundo.

Pero esta librería no solo queda en esto. Además tiene una pequeña tienda de souvenir y otros servicios. De aquí podemos salir con un regalo para nosotros mismos, o para un amigo.

Increíble son las chicas llamadas Libreras para atender nuestras mayores necesidades literarias y si esto fuera poco la librería tiene una segunda planta para conferencias y presentaciones de libros donde el café siempre está presente.

La librería cuenta además con un set de grabación para podcasts realizados por escritores. ¡No es increíble! Lastima no por haber llegado a este lugar pero espero en algún momento poder entrar.
