Hola chicos, para finalizar la tercera parte de este vlog de viaje (de mi primera vez manejando moto por la costa venezolana), les quiero mostrar el último destino de esta travesía.

Hello everyone, to conclude the third part of this travel vlog (about my first time riding a motorcycle along the Venezuelan coast), I want to show you the final destination of this journey.

Salimos de Cuyagua a eso de las 10 y media de la mañana, y nos dirigimos hacia Bahía de Cata. Tuvimos que regresar por la misma vía donde habíamos bajado anteriormente, a través de la montaña, luego llegar a Ocumare de la costa, y de ahí sí dirigimos a Bahía de Cata.

We left Cuyagua at around 10:30 in the morning and headed towards Bahía de Cata. We had to return by the same route we had taken earlier, through the mountains, then reach Ocumare on the coast, and from there we headed to Bahía de Cata.

No es tan lejos, pero debido a las curvas tan pronunciadas y bajadas y subidas, siempre, por precaución, es importante manejar con cuidado y no a tan alta velocidad.

It's not that far, but due to the sharp curves and ups and downs, it's always important to drive carefully and not too fast, just to be on the safe side.

Llegamos hasta Bahía de Cata, el edificio gigante que lo caracteriza que está allí en un conjunto residencial. Conseguimos, gracias a sugerencias que vimos por TikTok, este apartamento para 6 personas, el cual puedes alquilar por día a 15 dólares por persona, me pareció bastante económico.

We arrived at Bahía de Cata, the giant building that characterizes it, located in a residential complex. Thanks to suggestions we saw on TikTok, we found this apartment for six people, which you can rent for $15 per person per day. I thought it was quite affordable.

Trae una habitación, una sala de estar con 3 sofás-camas, la cocina, nevera, dos baños. Perfecto, ya que agiliza un poco la tarea de cambiarnos, ducharnos y todo eso, debido a la cantidad de personas, justamente. Y me pareció bastante cómodo. Hay duchas calientes, así que puedes relajarte, que fue lo primero que nosotros hicimos.

It has a bedroom, a living room with three sofa beds, a kitchen, a refrigerator, and two bathrooms. Perfect, since it makes getting changed, showering, and all that a little easier, precisely because there are so many of us. And I found it quite comfortable. There are hot showers, so you can relax, which was the first thing we did.

Afortunadamente, nos tocó el piso 17. ¿Por qué afortunadamente? Esto porque la vista que nos pudo dar este lugar fue increíble. Lo primero que vi al llegar fue abrir la puerta y ver el enorme ventanal de vidrio que mostraba toda la playa.

Fortunately, we got the 17th floor. Why fortunately? Because the view from this place was incredible. The first thing I saw when I arrived was to open the door and see the huge glass window that showed the entire beach.

Luego de darnos nuestros merecidos baños, nos cambiamos y nos fuimos hacia la playa, a la cual puedes tener acceso directamente desde los apartamentos, solo bajas y cruzas una reja para poder llegar y estar literalmente en la playa misma.

After taking our well-deserved baths, we got changed and headed to the beach, which you can access directly from the apartments. You just go downstairs and cross a gate to get there and find yourself literally on the beach itself.

Llevamos un chinchorro y unas sabanas para poder acostarnos en la arena, cuando llegamos a la playa era un poco más de medio día, así que pedimos nuestra comida, que por cierto, todo el lugar está lleno de muchas opciones y promociones, nosotros por supuesto elegimos almorzar comida de mar, que nos costó 8 dólares y alcanzaba el plato para dos personas.

We brought a hammock and some sheets so we could lie down on the sand. When we arrived at the beach, it was a little past noon, so we ordered our food. By the way, the place is full of options and promotions. We, of course, chose to have seafood for lunch, which cost us $8 and was enough for two people.

Ya luego de relajarnos un rato, nos dimos un baño. Había bastantes olas, así que aprovechamos de jugar con ellas, por mi parte tragué un poco de agua jaja, a decir verdad, pero lo disfruté igual.

After relaxing for a while, we went for a swim. There were quite a few waves, so we took advantage of them to play around. I swallowed a little water, haha, to be honest, but I enjoyed it anyway.

Luego de eso, ya en la noche, pudimos descansar, estábamos bastante agotados. Pudimos cocinar allí mismo la cena y por la mañana nos había quedado un poco sobrante del pescado del almuerzo y rellenamos unas arepas con ello. Por allí le voy a mostrar algunas fotos de eso.

Y bueno, como era de esperarse, no nos vinimos temprano hacia Barinas, sino que vimos la playa tan hermosa y decidimos volver al mar y darnos otro baño antes de salir; y terminaron haciéndose las 12 del mediodía.

Well, as expected, we didn't leave early for Barinas. Instead, we saw how beautiful the beach was and decided to go back to the sea and take another swim before leaving, and it ended up being noon.

Llegamos rápido al apartamento, a cambiarnos, montar las maletas e irnos hacia la autopista. Empezar a dirigirnos hacia Barinas, y por allá a eso de las 4 de la tarde fue que llegamos a almorzar para poder darle sin tantas pausas en el camino para que no se nos hiciera de noche.

We quickly arrived at the apartment, changed, packed our bags, and headed for the highway. We started driving towards Barinas, and at around 4 p.m. we arrived for lunch so we could continue without too many stops along the way and avoid driving after dark.

Pero al fin de cuentas, sí, se nos volvió a hacer de noche, no tan tarde, pero llegamos a Barinas aproximadamente a las 9 y media de la noche. Aprovechamos y tomamos algunas fotos al atardecer mientras manejaba y bueno, nada, como les dije, muy importante lavar tu moto al llegar, se merecen algo de cariño luego de un viaje así.

But in the end, yes, night fell again, not too late, but we arrived in Barinas at around 9:30 p.m. We took advantage of the opportunity and took some photos at sunset while driving, and well, as I said, it's very important to wash your motorcycle when you arrive. They deserve some TLC after a trip like that.
