My Sunset Moments: Enjoying the Golden Horizon

It was Friday evening when I took this photo.
It was around 5 o'clock in the afternoon.
The surroundings are slowly getting quiet.
The sun is slowly dipping down, creating a golden horizon.

The sun shines brightly through the dark trees and thin power lines.
The sky had a lot of gray clouds with the sun creating a bright yellow light in the middle. Seems like the sun is refusing to be outshone by the clouds.

Oh no! The clouds are almost covering the sun now. The sun hasn't fully set, but the clouds are already trying to cover it.

No matter how thick the clouds are, I can still see the bright glow from the sun. Not today, clouds! Not today! π

Here are photos of close-ups of dark palm leaves against a very bright orange and yellow sky. The clouds look dark and heavy at the top. Slowly covering the setting sun.
This observation made me wonder what a sunset would look like in the city. I live on the island of Guimaras, where there are tall trees and thick bushes everywhere. I will be going to the city the next day, so this thought made me set my eyes on my next target. The sunset in the city. π How cool would that be? π
Wish me luck because I'll be hunting the sunset in the city this weekend.
Thanks a lot for reading my sunset story today.
Have a wonderful day.

The way you described the sun fighting through clouds feels like a real life. Sometimes, problems try to cover our light, but it doesnβt mean the light is gone. Itβs still there.
Aww, you're right. Something to reflect on π
