Flu Shots, Family Bonding, and Superheroes! A Simple Family Day in Naga City

Hello my dear hivers! Hello to the wonderful people of @bayanihive community! This is me "LJ" and welcome to my blog! Another day, another blog to share. Today, I will be sharing another fun story to you all!

Last July 2025, was one of those days that felt simple yet meaningful for our little family. My son and I went to Naga City for our yearly flu shot and to visit my husband also.

It was held at the company where my husband works. It is always comforting to know that we were taking care of our health together as a family. It felt nice to have our vaccines done in the place where my husband spends most of his day.

The staff there were friendly, so the whole process went smoothly. We even stay in a karaoke room to rest for a while after getting done with the vaccination. My son even sang and dance there with so much happiness and energy.

After that, the three of us decided not to rush home. Since we were already in the city, we thought of making the most of our time. We headed straight to SM Naga since it was just in front of my husband’s company building. We were all excited to spend the rest of the day together.

As always, the first thing on our minds was food since we haven’t eaten yet for lunch. After strollin’ around and checking out some choices, we agreed on Greenwich. It felt like the perfect pick since we were craving for chicken, fries and pizza. The smell of pizza, fries and chicken instantly lifted our mood. My son’s eyes lit up as the order arrived, and he ate with so much joy that it made both me and my husband smile. We even ordered extra rice just for him. Truly, there is something heartwarming about sharing a simple meal as a family.

After eating our lunch, we are so full so we strolled around the mall and stumbled upon a “heroes display”. There were life-sized superhero figures lined up, and of course my son was thrilled.

He ran toward them with so much excitement, and we could not resist taking photos of him posing beside his favorite hero. It was so fun watching him try to copy their actions. He looked like a little hero himself. My husband and I laughed while snapping pictures, happy to see him enjoying every second. Our son is our pride and joy!

By the time we headed home, I felt a deep sense of contentment. What started as just a quick trip to our flu shots turned into a day filled with laughter, good food, and sweet family bonding. It reminded me that the most special memories often come from simple happy family bonding.

And that’s it for my today’s blog! I hope you guys enjoy my story and I wish to see you on my next one. Have a nice day ahead to all of us!
