I Will continue to stand with you
You have concluded are not you?
It was lack of trust
Never showing the belief at my side
Just for one reason you think that way
But you just go out of the dance
I thought you at my heart
Then you will see what I am made of
But you just consider the parts you see
Not knowing not all are as you see
There is something in it that is far
Away from the style you think about
You focused on the loving aspect
Call me a lover boy
Giving it to me as a tittle
The words were heavier
So I have to drop it on the ground
Not focusing on you alone
But it’s either you nor me
I think we missed the opportunity.
It was not written
He write his own story
And it became something he moved with
Now he has to change it
Because it seems it wasn’t his story
Why could she say that of him
At that very moment it hurts him
He became to act on a hurry
Sighting very well not blurry
Going another day not in a lorry
Licking up his lollipop
That sweet candies was on top.
The place he called home was his home
He forget thing’s of distractions
And was giving her his attention
But he wasn’t on the right mentioned
That attitude hurt him very much
On his heart was harder than he can bear
But he has a soft heart
So he expressed it out
And was asking her why bringing that
Because he didn’t want to feel hurting from her
She let it pass
He match out
And he shows he is still at her side.
This poem shows why we should not think the good stuffs people do for us are not a thing. As long as I know, every kindness we received should be appreciated. Therefore, in this piece of art. Someone who was kind was rather rated down, the person he was kind to, take him for granted.
She makes him feels, the things he did has no value, and it was mandatory for him, so he stop it, and rewrite his story.
Your poem carries a raw honesty that speaks of hurt, misunderstanding, and the weight of being unappreciated. I felt the struggle of someone who gave kindness yet was judged unfairly, their efforts overlooked. The shift to rewriting one’s story stood out powerfully; it feels like reclaiming dignity after disappointment. I admire how you weave pain with resilience, showing that even when misunderstood, the heart can still find strength. Thank you for sharing something so personal and real that it lingers after reading.
@dante31, what a great way of nailing down comments, and it suits the whole piece of art. You are very right. The poems say’s something about disappointment, but no matter what, we have to be strong, not minding what we face. Thank you so much.
