LOVE

We watch the sun go to sleep,
And the moon takes over.

But then, seasons and tides,
Have nothing on us.
It’s infinite what we have.

Through everything,
It stands strong.

After the storm, a rainy day,
The beginning and end of seasons,
It’s an unbreakable cycle.

I know what we have is pure,
And even if the world falls apart,
Our LOVE still lives on.

I like the simple, down to Earth language you use in this poem. It gave me the feeling of watching time-lapse photography.

The song must be lovely🤗. If you don't mind sharing, what's the name of the song? So that i can listen to it too.

This poem is really beautiful! I love how it talks about love being strong no matter what happens. The lines about the sun, moon, and seasons make it feel magical, like love lasts forever. It’s simple but deep, and it gives a warm feeling. Great job!

Thank you for reading through. i felt warm too when i wrote it, it was inspired by a young couple i saw taking pictures in the sunset they were not shy even though passersby were giving them strange looks and saying weird things. that was when it stuck and i wrote this.
Thanks for the reblog too.
