¡Gran Campeonato Argentino del Alfajor, 2025!/[ESP-ENG]

Cada año, se celebra el Gran Campeonato Argentino del Alfajor, Justamente en las instalaciones del Parque Multipropósito de Avellaneda, en Buenos Aires. Es la oportunidad de que los diversos artesanos y fabricantes, en todos los niveles, bien sea industrial, de emprendimiento artesanal y/o de las confiterías de todas partes del país, converjan en este gran espacio.

![ingles]Every year, the Great Argentine Alfajor Championship is held at the Avellaneda Multipurpose Park in Buenos Aires. It's an opportunity for diverse artisans and manufacturers—at all levels, from industrial to entrepreneurial, to artisanal, and from confectioners from all regions of the country—to converge in this grand space.

El evento, por supuesto, contó con el apoyo del alcalde del sector, y la presencia de varios emprendimientos de comida, asado, helado, cervezas, artesanos de la alcaldía, confiterías, ventas muy variadas. Todos en la parte exterior de los galpones de exposición.

![ingles]The event, of course, was supported by the mayor of the area, and featured the presentation of several food ventures: barbecue, ice cream, beer, artisan products from the mayor's office, confectionery, and a wide variety of sales. All of this took place outside the exhibition halls.

Decidí colocar esta fotografía en el primer lugar, porque en ella, se inicia y termina el, evento. Antes de retirarme, encontré un lindo disfraz de carpincho, capibara o chigüire, este, es uno de los animalitos más lindos y emblemáticos de acá´. También, la sorpresa de la noche, los alfajores de sabores espectaculares y además con ese agregado como lo es el pistacho, además con un precio bastante aceptable, para lo delicioso que ha sido este sabor de alfajor.

![ingles]I decided to include this photo in third place because it marks the beginning and end of the event. Before leaving, I found a cute capybara or chigüire costume—one of the cutest and most iconic animals here. Also, the surprise of the night: the alfajores in spectacular flavors, with that pistachio addition. And at a very reasonable price, considering how delicious this alfajor flavor was.

Esta hermosa imagen fue que nos recibió al llegar. Una bella elaboración de alfajores gigantes, además bien rellenos. La publicidad de los productos que son indispensables para la elaboración de un buen Alfajor, manteca, dulce de leche, chocolate, etc.

Les presento al gran ganador de este Campeonato de alfajores 2025. Nada más y nada menos que los Alfajores de la marca Ourense. Así que cuando estén por elegir sabores, busquen esa marca. Seguidamente, les presentaré, una gran parte de los estands donde presentaron todas esas delicias de alfajores y otras cosas más.

Los alfajores de esta marca, PEHUEN CO(Alfajores Artesanales) que tenemos debajo, lograron ser parte de los premiados. Plata, por Sublime textura artesanal. Realmente su sabor, o mejor dicho el sabor del relleno con frutillas, ha sido para mí uno de los mejores. Yo, lo certifico, el chico que estaba deleitándonos con su historia del concurso, me dio a probarlo y puff, mis papilas gustativas comenzaron a valorar verdaderamente hasta el precio de uno como este, es sutil...

![ingles]The alfajores from this brand, PEHUEN CO (Artisanal Alfajores), shown below, were among the winners. Silver, for Sublime Artisanal Texture. Without a doubt, their flavor, or rather, the flavor of the strawberry filling, has been one of the best for me. I can attest to that. The guy who delighted us with his story from the contest gave me a taste, and wow! My taste buds began to truly appreciate it, even the price of one like this is subtle...

La Dulce Inés de Almirante Brown, siempre se ha destacado con sus deliciosos alfajores. Esta marca, viene de ser vista en plena acción y venta. Les muestro la cantidad de medallas que tienen, es impresionante. Es un gran equipo de emprendedores artesanales que tienen ganado el cielo con sus deliciosos alfajores.

![ingles]Dulce Inés de Almirante Brown has always stood out with its delicious alfajores. This brand has been seen in action and on sale. I'll show you the number of medals they have; it's impressive. It's a great team of artisanal entrepreneurs who have earned their place in heaven with their delicious alfajores.

Lo que no podría faltar en un evento argentino es su deliciosa yerba Mate. La llaman la Grapia Milenaria. Estos artesanos también tienen una gran variedad de té e infusiones para el deleite de todos. Nos dieron a probar uno de sus deliciosos tés, y nos gustó mucho. Así que lo compraría más adelante.

![ingles]What couldn't be missing at an Argentine event is their delicious yerba mate. They call it Grapia Milenaria. These artisans also have a wide variety of teas and infusions for everyone's delight. They gave us one of their delicious teas to try, and we really liked it. So I would definitely buy it again later.

Lo que es mi debilidad también estuvo presente, en este concurso. El café y el aroma que se desprendía de aquel espacio, era de ensueños. Igualmente, compré mi cafecito y continué saboreándolo mientras paseaba por los estands. Los espacios estaban ful de gente, y casi no se podía caminar. Indudablemente, no se debe estar en tumultos, y mucho menos en estas épocas de resfriados por doquier, pero para mí era el último día y no podía suspender la visita.

![ingles]My weakness was also present at this competition. The coffee and the aroma that wafted from that space were dreamy. I bought my coffee anyway and continued to sip it while I wandered through the stands. The spaces were packed with people, and it was almost impossible to walk. Undoubtedly, one shouldn't be in crowds, especially during these times of widespread colds, but for me it was the last day and I couldn't cancel my visit.

Hasta que por fin llegamos donde los famosos alfajores de Mufaso el León... Ellos también elaboran el dulce de leche especial para sus alfajores también especiales. Los tienen en blanco y en negro. Se veían ricos, pero no los pude probar, ni comprar. Era una cosa o la otra, pero no tenían cata, y yo, por supuesto, tampoco podía comprar de todos los sabores ¡Me arruinaría! Ja, ja, ja. Sin embargo, había mucha gente comprando, lo cual es buena referencia.

![ingles]Until we finally arrived at Mufaso the Lion's famous alfajores... They also make the special dulce de leche for their special alfajores. They have them in black and white. They looked delicious, but I couldn't try them or buy them. It was one thing or the other, but they didn't have tastings, and of course, I couldn't buy all the flavors. I'd be ruined! Ha ha ha. However, there were a lot of people buying them, which is a good reference.

El siguiente vendedor es una marca que de entrada son proveedores para mayoristas. Es decir, venden a nivel industrial, además de exportadores de sus exquisiteces y materia prima. De hecho me preguntaron que si deseaba comprar para enviar a mi país. Je, je, je. Me hubiese gustado decirles que sí. En la imagen pueden observar los productos que tenían y la verdad es, que se sintió cada uno más delicioso que el otro. Son verdaderos industriales del chocolate para combinar con todo tipo de recetas. Su marca es, Industrias El Tronador.

![ingles]The next seller is a brand that is a wholesale supplier. That is, they sell at the industrial level, as well as exporting their delicacies and raw materials. In fact, they asked me if I wanted to buy to send to my country. Heh, heh, heh. I wish I could have said yes. In the picture, you can see the products they had, and honestly, each one was more delicious than the last. They are true chocolate manufacturers, perfect for combining with all kinds of recipes. Their brand is Industrias El Tronador.

No podía dejar de presentarles, las diversas ofertas que se ofrecieron allí. Unos alfajores cuyos sabores eran tan diversos, que había que probarlos porque en nada se parecían a los demás. La razón, primero, eran para concurso, después había competencia de sabores y variedades y claro, el nivel competitivo era extraordinario.

I couldn't help but introduce you to the various offerings on offer there. Alfajores with such diverse flavors that you had to try them because they weren't at all similar. First, they were for a competition; second, there was a competition of flavors and varieties, and of course, the level of competition was extraordinary.

Cada región trajo lo mejor de su tierra. Yo me prendé de todos los que tenían ese toque mágico que les da el pistacho. Fue genial, pude probar una que llaman torta argentina que es muy parecida a un dulce de mi tierra llamado mil hojas. Lo diferente es que esa delicia porque no se le puede llamar de otra manera, tenía alrededor de diez tipos diferentes de relleno y esas combinaciones tan bien pensadas, eran las que la daban ese sabor tan sutil y a la vez dulce y de una textura tan suave, que a morderlo no se partía, pero se sentía esa sensación. Guau, fue lo que más me gustó de la misma. De volverla a ver, la compraría.

![ingles]Each region brought the best of its land. I fell in love with all the ones that had that magical touch that pistachio gives them. It was great. I got to try one they call Torta Argentina, which is very similar to a sweet from my homeland called Mille-Feuille. What was different about this delicacy—it couldn't be called anything else—was that it had around ten different types of fillings, and those well-thought-out combinations were what gave it that subtle yet sweet flavor and such a soft texture that when you bit into it, it didn't break, but you could still feel that sensation. Wow, that was my favorite thing about it. If I saw it again, I would buy it.

En este evento, se presentaron alrededor de 400 fabricantes, cada uno con sus mejores ofertas. Aquellos que ofrecían el relleno para las diferentes creaciones de alfajores y alguna que otra torta o pastel. Asimismo, cada uno llevaba su banner, y publicidad, además de que en ambos galpones se ofrecían talleres para rellenar los alfajores, para elaborarlos y otros. Realmente todo estuvo de primera calidad como siempre.

![ingles]At this event, around 400 manufacturers were present, each with their best offerings. They offered fillings for various alfajor creations, as well as the occasional cake or pastry. Each one also carried their own banner and advertising, and both warehouses offered workshops on alfajor filling, making, and more. Everything was truly top-quality, as always.

Mis amigos los que venden la mejor miel de Buenos Aires. Siempre presente en todos los eventos gastronómicos, pues nada mejor que la miel para endulzar toda propuesta pastelera. Además, ellos tratan la miel y elaboran hasta caramelos, extraen el propóleo, ofrecen la panela de cera para elaboraciones variadas al público, podría ser para hacer cosméticos, o decorar velas aromáticas. Son nuestras abejitas, las que nunca nos abandonan.

![ingles]My friends, the ones who sell the best honey in Buenos Aires. Always present at every culinary event, there's nothing better than honey to sweeten any pastry. They also process the honey and even make candies, extract propolis, and offer the wax panela to the public for various creations, including cosmetics or scented candles. They're our little bees, the ones who never leave us.

Para cerrar con broche de oro, todo el tiempo que duró este evento, es decir, los tres días, reinó la buena música para ambientarlo. Les digo que asistió mucha gente, durante los días de la competencia. No importó la lluvia ni el frío. La gente asistió y disfrutó de esta actividad tan especial, para el argentino.
