What a season it has been for Liverpool as they are crowned 2024/2025 Premier League Champions after beating Tottenham 5-1 away from home yesterday evening. At the start of the season, I honestly didn't expect Liverpool to win the league because of the new changes that were happening in the club as Arne Slot took over during the summer window. I was expecting this season to be normal as Slot will be getting an experience of the Premier League campaign season for him to get his ideas and push for the title the following season, but it went the opposite direction which turned out just good.

Liverpool winning the Premier League this season is not luck because the team was better and I am sure some fans will say it was because Manchester City was not having a good season and Arsenal failed to capitalize on their chances that gave Liverpool the edge to win the league which in my opinion is false. Liverpool has been the better side in the league, as their stats speak for themselves this season. Manchester City's form this season was horrible, and they had multiple chances to get back into the title race, but they couldn't capitalize on their chances in the league.

Arsenal, on the other hand, has not changed when it comes to chasing the title because they had clear chances, but as usual, they bottled it in important moments of the league. Salah was key to ensuring Liverpool's claim to the title this season and although he was not vital for Liverpool in European competition he still had a great season, we could see him as the top three contenders for the Ballon d'Or this year, but his chances of winning the award went down when Liverpool got knocked off the Champions League this season. Salah this season has scored 28 goals and provided 18 assists alone in the EPL this season.

Salah's contract renewal was the best thing to add to this season's achievement and I hope next season the Egyptian continues with this form on the pitch. Liverpool winning the Premier League title yesterday now equals the total tally of EPL titles that Manchester United has won in their club history. Liverpool has now won their 20th Premier League title, and I am sure some Manchester United fans are pained by this milestone Liverpool has been able to reach this season. This couldn't have happened if every player in the squad, plus the medical and catching staff had not put in effort to achieve this goal.

It's going to be a long week of celebrations in Liverpool and now the boys just have to finish the remaining matches in this league. The work has just begun for Arne Slot as all eyes will be on him next season in all competitions. Liverpool is not yet sure of any intention of signing players, but there is a possibility they will sign and let some players go this summer window. So, guys, it has been an incredible weekend for Liverpool, and once again, congratulations to the team.
