5 minute freewrite 2977 prompt stunning

What a day, it seemed to go on forever, but we were home by one O'clock. There is nothing stunning to write about. We went up the creek to troll for jacks, but they were gone, so we went out to the river in hopes of catching them or anything.
We trolled to the north bar of the inlet. Before we got to it, we caught three little jacks. When I say little, I mean little, the three did not weigh a pound. We also caught a one pound mackerel.
We trolled to Long Point and then back across the river to the creek. This time we went further up the creek, and still no bites. We went to the South Prong and trolled the big cove by the Indian Mound, then trolled to the boat ramp and came home.
I still had my fish from yesterday on ice in the boat so we took them to the fish house, we weighed up one mackerel and 19 pounds of jacks. I had eighteen of them yesterday.
Every time I hit a letter on my keyboard to type, my laptop blinks off and on, so that is all I am going to write today. I hold my breath every day, that I will get to make another post, so I do not want to push it.

Sounds like a bad monitor connection. There is a bundle of wires running from behind the screen through the hinge and into the motherboard somehow. Depending on how your laptop was built, fixing it is anywhere from "pain in the ass" to "what bastard designed this bullshit?" If you have the right cable, you could plug the laptop into a TV and use a wireless keyboard and mouse to get by.
Thank you for the info, but hooking up to the tv will not work for me. Maybe it was the angle I had the monitor because it seems to be working now. It is leaned back further than I usually have it. I will play with different positions and see if it does it again, that should tell me if it is a wire, shouldn't it?
Yes, if the connection issues seem related to screen angle, there's definitely an issue with the hinge and video feed wiring.
It had no problem when typing a reply to you, BUT halfway through my freewrite it started blinking again. I did not move the top part. I thought you were on point with the problem. Back to the drawing board!!! Everyone tells me I need a new one, or new to me one.
