5 minute freewrite 2132 Thursday prompt without temptation

My husband made a wise decision and did not fish today. Me, like a fool, went. I started at the Big Flatt, then the clam leases, Black Point, Green Point, Turtle Pen Sleuth, Pelican Island, Pauls Island, over to Rocky Point, up the west shore, back across the river to the Big Flatt where I did see one boil the water. I anchored and caught the two in the picture. I anchored two more times but never caught anything else so I went back to the west shore and ran north of the boat ramp. By this time the sky was looking dark a storm was approaching so I went to the boat ramp and pulled my boat out.
I did something and have not told my husband about it, I know he will be mad but the way I see it is I make this money too and I am not without temptation. I contacted the guy who is getting sandfleas and told him that I wanted a bucket full. I will have to tell him, but I will wait and see he the guy gets them first. My stomach is in knots about this so I hope he hurrys up and gets them.
The flea guy just text me and said he found a guy that will pay him 60 dollars a gallon and he wants 1000 gallons a week, that is crazy. This guy must sell them because no one can use 1000 gallons a week. So I do not know if I will get mine. Maybe it is not meant for me to go behind my husband's back and buy them.

Men can be rather stubborn about some things, that's for sure. I understand your reluctance to make a decision he won't like, but I also understand why you'd like to do it that way.
Yes, they can be stubborn, but if the guy can get them for me, I will buy them and he will just have to live with it. I will still go and try to get more but it will be nice to have a bunch in the freezer.

That was funny but little does he know, fish are very smart. One day MAYBE, I will play the game instead of going fishing. I think it is cruel to catch and release, you hook a fish, fight it until it is worn out, and let it flop in the bottom of the boat until you get it unhooked sometimes it swallows the hook and will die, some people use a rag to hold it which removes its natural slime then they throw it back in the water. If they fish offshore in deep water, their bellies blow up and they die, yet they still throw it back. I fish to feed others and to feed myself, and the little thing called a paycheck. If you want to catch and release, this game is what you should do.
