Walking on SOLID GROUND - 5 Minutes Freewrite.

This is my entry to the Freewrite writing prompt for the day, SOLID GROUND.

The truth is that challenges are inevitable. They come in their own time and some of those challenges can test our resolve in ways we do not expect. I'm not even kidding.

I've particularly had a full course meal of challenges this year alone. It has been a wild ride and I struggle to understand how I'm still pushing forward with a smile on my face. It's not easy to make sense of how I've been surviving till this very moment.

The only thing I point to is the fact that several aspect of my life is laid on solid ground. My character, relationships, faith, and a lot more. They are all balanced on solid ground.

It sorta begs the question about how much more I can take.

Yes!

How bad does it have to get before things start to get good?

I can imagine that I'm not the first, neither would I be the last person, to raise such questions when going through the rough side of life. I sure don't want to imagine what people had to do when they reached their breaking point.

I would rather focus on finding ways to flip the table while pushing forward because my life is built on solid grounds.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.

This is a fact boss. Many are going through so much and yet still smile through it all. It could only be because of a solid foundation.

Cheers

Exactly. Many do a good job of keeping up a smiling face even when they are going through a series of tough and uninspiring situations.

Yeah, such is life but we can only do the one thing that matters, which is to keep pushing as we see another day.

I feel like life throws so many unexpected things my way too, and sometimes it’s hard to keep it together. But yeah, having something solid to stand on — like your values or faith — really makes a difference

You are on point about that

When the going hits hard, it helps massively to have that solid ground.

It can be a game changer

That's why I have stopped judging people by their smile. They can be smiling and still suffering a lot deep within

True. The smiles people put on can be very different from what the reality is.
