In the quest of becoming a great place to work for many companies, while on the surface, it will be seem like there is an overall uplifting of the company, there might be underlying suffering that employees are facing but are told to suppress so that the company image can be preserved and ensure they do not get derailed from receiving their award.

And this is why, whenever anyone views a company that they wish to join, it will not be just from the awards the company received but to also find out if there are under currents that are being suppressed.

To find a company that treat their employee truly well is not an easy task. Sometimes a company that did not attain too many of those prestigious award might be the ones that you should consider as they do not need to "defend" their reputation to upkeep their award.
