When travelling out in the wild, one has to be extra careful as not every piece of land that they step on is solid ground. Especially with more tectonic movement that is happening, you never know what is exactly happening to the earth crust and previously solid ground can turn to quicksand overnight.

I recalled a near miss incident by a friend whom really did encounter a situation whereby he walked into quicksand unknowingly. And with human nature, the first thing that occurred to him was to struggle and try to get out of it. And with all heard quicksand story, the more one struggle the more into the quicksand they go.

But thankfully, we were nearby to him and manage to help pull him out of the quicksand as he breathe a sigh of relief when he was standing on solid ground once again.
