Innovation, the word that bosses always like to hear but do not share how to even start innovating or guide us on how to do so.

I believe many of us in the workplace will come across this word innovation because the bosses would want us to innovate and help make things easier, faster and cheaper. While just calling out to employees to innovate, nobody actually know how to start. To just innovate right on the spot is really difficult.

There needs be some form of guidance and brainstorming session together. Even when it is value of the company, to even innovate is not an easy task. Guide the employees to think, without what they have seen so far, what could be a better way to get things done, is there any process sequence that can be optimized, if we look at the problem from another direction, is there something else we can try?

It is important to coach innovation and guide people to start asking themselves questions and unlearn what they've learned so that a new brand new method can be thought of and tried. Without proper guiding,, there is only this much that can come out.
