Mary is very worried for her dog as her dog had been scratching all day and looked really uncomfortable. She didn't know what to do, hence she ran over to her neighbour's house to get help. Mary's neighbour Joan is a vet student whom is in her 2nd year of studies.

Joan wore her gloves and took a quick look and quickly identified that Mary's dog is having fleas issue but Joan did not have the equipment to handle and suggested that she and Mary both bring her dog to the vet downtown whom is her lecturer.

When they arrived at the pet hospital where Joan's lecturer was, she quickly told them not to worry as she is a known flea surgeon and she has the equipment to ensure Mary's dog will be free of fleas.

After one and a half hours, Mary's dog came running towards Mary, free of fleas and no longer scratching.

Mary thanked both Joan and her lecturer and went home happily with her dog.
