We need to be careful when interacting with our friends and colleagues. There are many times we might have unknowingly let go another lazy stereotype and offend others. Friendship will get jeopardized and working relationship will get affected as well.

Hence, we need to always be aware of our speech and let the content past through our minds before speaking. Should it accidentally came out from our mouths, we need to quickly arrest that speech and apologize.

There are so many incidents of such thing happening and such an incident happened during the latest election in my country. Thankfully there was a quick apology made else the deposit made by the candidate would have been confiscated due to low votes. Remember, stereotyping will lead to dire consequences. If you can, avoidance is the best because even with mitigation, there will also be some kind of impact.
