What I see?

The story

Kelvin and Kelly have always been happy kids staying with their parents and enjoying their company until tragedy struck.

One morning, the parents left for work as usual and dropped the children at school before going to their offices.

After school that day, their nanny went to school to pick them up and as they reached the house, they took their bath and had their lunch and went to take their nap.

When they woke up, they started playing with their teddy hoping for their parents to return but they did not do so. They asked the nanny whether their parents had called and she said "no".

After a while, there was a knock on the door. Kevin rushed to the open the door thinking it was their parents but it was a police officer.

“Good evening young man" said the police officer” surprised to see a little boy at the door.

"Is there an adult at home whom I can talk to?" asked the police officer.

"Yes nanny is at home. Let me call her here", Kelvin said and ran into the house to call their namay.

"Good evening officer. How may I help you?" Nanny said.

"God evening ma'am. I'm here to deliver some unfortunate news.Mr and Mrs Williams were involved in a ghastly motor accident and no one survived. I'm sorry for the loss" the police officer said finally.

The children overheard it and were in shock. They could not utterr a word. All they did was to run to their room and start crying.

After the funeral, the uncle and aunty decided that the children would be separated and that one of them will go with one each since they were still young. Kelvin and Kelly began to cry since they didn't want to be separated.

They pleaded with their uncle and aunty not to separate them, that they will miss each other but it was not granted to them. They went to their room, took up their teddy and sat on the floor with their backs facing each other and started imagining how they would cope without each other.

They were just thinking about the memories they shared with their parents and would forever miss them.
