5 minutes write: daily prompt🫴

Hello freewriters, I am @aowilson and I am thrilled to jump on this daily prompt.

I will really want to talk about myself and how I began to write. My journey wasn't really a free one as there has been ups and downs.
I got the motivation from my English teacher back then in 2016 who told me that I was good in writing and that I should switch classes from science to arts to develop it better.

This is the story, he gave a 14 love poem writing challenge which I happen to emerge as the best writer. I didn't know where I got those lines from but if you had read those lines I wrote , just a bite of it:
"I can see your picture
In my future
You have captured
Me by your nice feature..." I'll share the poem some other time😂

So he said I had potential and that was where I began to write. I write generally, I write poems, stories, songs as inspired. During high school days, I think I used to love English for one reason, because of comprehensive passage reading and the exams where were made to write stories of not less than 250 words. I loved it so much.

Fast forward, to now, I think I can write on any topic, as inspired, I am not yet so good at writing as I desire but I believe I am trying, I am just being me. I have attended 2 classes to improve myself and I am hoping to improve myself the more.

I love to write because my unspoken thoughts are penned down and information is passed, many have been blessed and uplifted by my writing. I am better expressed when I write because I carve out and paint what's on my mind better than when speaking. I've noticed that many writers are not public speakers, but I am a public speaker. I guess I am born different and unique.

I am happy to be part of this great community and I hope to grow here. If you read my write up and you feel a need for a correction, please you can do so...
