garden wildlife update

Good day ,

Last night after sunset i decided to give the garden some water especially those plants that i have planted and seeded this year.

However some of that water landed on flowers and a complaining neigbour.

So i went inside to grab the camera and make some water drop pictures .

I started with this llittle pink rose originally solld as a white rose but i guess i have to much acid in my soil so they turn pink overtime.

Our green neigbour didn't look so happy with his free shower, he was sittitng on another small rose flower.

the blackbackground is because the photo was taken after sunset so i had to use my flashlight .

i was very happywith the light results using the flash on 1/4 and the camera on iso 400 f8 1/160 shutter speed

getting things in focus was a bit tricky and the wind wasn't really hellping either.

but overal not bad for after sunset macro shooting.

This morning i wen t back into the garden when i spotted movement in my white Paeonie flower, can you spot it ?

it was waiting for food delivery , any flying polinator will do just fine.

Every day i manage to spot something else to photograpph in my garden this morning i spotted this baby grashopper / sprinkhaan .

Woww heart touching click of pink rose. I'm amazed to know that acid in soil could change the color of rose. You click all pictures perfectly.

Your macro photographs are amazing. I have no words to describe the beauty of these photographs. I love flowers more than insects, so your first photograph of a drop of water on a flower petal is one of my favorite photographs. Even so, I love pink flowers.

thank you i'm glad you like it , the benefit of macrophotography after sunset is that they move slower and you have complete control of the light :)

Great photos! I never get good photos of insects...probably because I'm a little afraid of them...

You did a good job. The flower looks nice. Too bad for the neighbour who got an unwanted shower 🚿

I hold a master's degree in Wildlife and possess a profound passion for observing untamed creatures in their natural environment. The sight of a rose adorned with delicate droplets is truly a captivating spectacle.🌸
