Have you seen Ironheart? It's another 'super suit' minus the billionaire. It seems to be aimed at teens, but it gets quite dark.
Not yet, but I will... at the next house-sit that has Disney+. It's funny how the teen series are the ones that always turn dark. There was an animated DC series called Young Justice (starting team is all the sidekicks: Robin, Speedy, Kid Flash, and Superboy). But, it ended up being one of the most adult series in tone that came out of the DCAU.
