Unlocking Fractal Geometry In Abstract | nftshowroom X alienarthive challenge for September: GEOMETRY Theme No. 1

For my Geometry design No. 1, I wanted to highlight my work with pure fractals. It's no secret that I love working with them and have been doing so for the past several years. Rarely do I show the fractals in their pure form since I render the majority on transparent backgrounds. Doing this enables me to blend them with other fractals and different type art.
However, to see the majority of fractals in their true form and intricate details, a dark background, especially black, is the preferred method when rendering.
You may recall that I defined a fractal as a visual representation of complex mathematical equations. Those equations include geometrical computations. The most intricate type fractals are the Mandala variations. I accomplish this variation by utilizing the advanced version of the fractal rendering program, Apophysis 7X.
My passion for creating pure fractals, then combining them with my abstract art creations provide for interesting projects.

According to the challenge post, NFTShowroom will feature all the month's Geometry themed Art minted on the NFT Showroom home page / twitter and Alien Art Hive will be curating participants' blog posts. This challenge is for the full month of September. To join in check out NFTShowroom's challenge post here: nftshowroom X alienarthive challenge for September: Geometry.
To participate:
- make art incorporating the Geometry theme
- mint it on https://nftshowroom.com/
- make a blog post about it in Alien Art Hive
- use #nftshowroom in your tags
Below are my steps in creating the design.
The design is titled Unlocking Fractal Geometry In Abstract. I used the Tessellation model in the stable diffusion program, StarryAI, to produce the primary image since Tessellation is actually a geometrical pattern in the mathematical universe.
Commonly known as tiles, Tessellation shapes and patterns fit together like perfectly interlocking puzzles on a surface or plane. Since fractals are also visual mathematical representations, this challenge presented the opportunity to showcase one of my fractal mandalas.
In art, Tessellation patterns resemble abstract lines, squares, and other geometric connected shapes.

The information for my design minted on NFTShowroom.
Name: Unlocking Fractal Geometry In Abstract
Date Minted: 9/1/25

Number Minted: 5
Cost: 5 Hive/each
Here are the stable diffusion image and the pure Mandala fractal I blended to create the design. For the stable diffusion image, I used the following steps:
Style: Extreme Realism
Prompt: Tesselation experience in geometry.
Thanks for taking the time to view my post. I hope you like my fist mixed media project for the Geometry theme.

Thanks @lee1938 for sharing my project. I appreciate it. Take care.
I am passionate about fractals because everything in the world is fractal, and this can be seen especially in nature. Combining them with other geometric or abstract shapes creates very striking and attractive compositions. They are also enigmatic, which I really like. Today's fractal has contrasting colours and you created a very good background for it! Great job! Hugs!🤗
A fractal iteration can be found in numerous instances in nature. I used to believe that the snowflake was the only example. I love their intricate detail. Yes, the Tessellation feature as the background blended well.
Thanks so much for your visit and insight. I appreciate it. Take care.

Thank you very much, your designs and collages are beautiful! Have a wonderful day!
This could easily be a beautiful design put on a black shirt and it'll sell so well. Or maybe used as an entire design for a traditional outfit, this is too good a design
It does seem fitting for a screensaver, doesn't it? I thank you so much for your warm compliment for my design. Take care and I appreciate your support.
