Hello anime lovers, I am back again with another amazing anime, Fruits Basket. I watched this anime a long time ago; there's an old version that was released around 2001, and the new adaptation has amazing animation, which was released in 2019. I liked the new version better because of the graphics; it really looks better. I have been waiting for a long time to disclose this anime with you guys, as I have only seen a few reviews about it. It's not that popular because it's not action-related; it's Shoujo, romance, supernatural, and slice of life. Trust me, it's one of the best shoujo you will ever see.

Look at the music playing in the background; it's soothing to my ears. When I first found this anime, it was random; I didn't watch the trailer, so I would say the anime is much more than what you can see in the trailer. I would ask everyone to try this anime at least once because it's one of the best romance anime ever. This anime is all about love, acceptance, hope, and moving forward. The most important part is that there are members who are possessed by the animals of the Chinese zodiac. The story is definitely incredible; everyone would like it for sure.

The story begins with a girl named Tohru Honda. She's a high school student and an orphan. Besides her studies, she works as a janitor to pay for her tuition and living expenses. Somehow, Tohru's life turned miserable because of a family tragedy; she became homeless and found herself living in a tent. The land where she built the tent belonged to the Sohma family, where her classmate Yuki lives, and she was taken in by the Sohma family. Tohru is unaware of their secret and starts to live with them.

This anime has three seasons and the first season is not that special but things will start to get interesting from season two of will get darker than expectations. I won't say it's a reverse harem because I didn't see anything like that, we can say that there's more likely love triangle thing. But it's absolutely not a reverse harem. The storyline is beautiful and emotional. I am rewatching this anime for the 3rd time and it still feels like one of the best romance anime. Don't let season one fool you and I would recommend you to watch the whole series before judging about the anime being bad or good. But I can assure you that it's really good.

To be honest, this anime is a treasure for me because, to me, it's a masterpiece, and I have watched it a few times, so that proves it. Actually, I have cried three times because whenever I watch it, I can't help but go through my emotions. I feel bad for the people who don't know about this anime yet. This anime will truly teach you some life lessons and will help you go through various emotions. Fruits Basket has helped me get through one of the most devastating phases of my life. For this reason, the anime has a special place in my heart.

I usually don't like to watch romance or slice-of-life animes, but Fruits Basket is exceptional for me. Well, our main protagonist, Tohru, has really inspired me a lot because she had to face many struggles in her life, and still, she managed to confront reality with a warm smile on her face. She accepted everyone without ever judging. She makes things look easier, but in reality, she is in deep pain, which she tries to hide from everyone because she doesn't want to bother others; however, it reflects through her eyes. So, she is one of my favorite female characters.
